This phone camera is good but when compared to high end dslrs of today's, this phone comes very much close but as you zoom, the picture lose details. I wish it had a 10x or more optical zoom with high grade lens. The camera UI is simply mind blowing and brilliant however Nokia 808 PureView camera UI offers many many settings except for manual controls. I don't care if my phone is slim, if it has a big sensor and a big battery which is removable, then I'm okay with it. This phone lives up to the tag line, nothing else comes close. Worth every penny. Looking forward to some freedom on Windows phone OS next update.
pedro , 27 Feb 2014Y don't they don't they include external memory for me that's d only turn of from purchasing it Because 32GB plus the 10 GB on cloud service is more than enough to have your world in!

if this had android on it, there half a dozen mates of mine would have it :) come on Microsoft do you want to sell phones or not?
Let's send lots of e-mails to Microsoft to make a Nokia octa-core with 75mpx and 8k recording and also an underwater case for diving !
HDMI connection included.
Also a case with a zooming lens like s4 zoom !

Looking it from a positive side, we'll develop the habit of frequent offloading photos onto PC, Laptos, etc... Lolz~ at least now I started to learn the importance of organizing my storage & photos =P

It's "THE PHONE" person who loves photography and travel around. Some complained bout the long shot to shot interval, I do experienced it as well. But I would say nothing beats the fact that all you need is just an awesome shot and this completes your album! Few days back I did "light art" shots just using this phone and a tripod... it's totally mind blowing.
Btw I'm not a frequent gamer thus never test the gaming capabilities to the limit. Cheers to Lumia 1020~ =D

Nazi, 21 Feb 2014Hi Guys since most of you have used the Lumia 1020 just wanted to know abt the battery life. I... moreI use the phone since august and the batterylife is very good. Of course it drains faster when you use the camera a lot, but that is logical. The camera grip will give some extra batterylife for when you want to use if often.
AnonD-139514, 21 Feb 2014Bro even check the battery test done by gsm arena...battery rocks... :)can u post the link..

Hi Guys since most of you have used the Lumia 1020 just wanted to know abt the battery life. I love photography and i am a bit concerned as this only has a 2000 MAh battery and with a huge 41 mega pixel sensor. Kindly share ur experience
The camera was awesome. it can compete along with standard SLR cameras but i'm not satisfied with the OS (W8), not a user-friendly phone.everything is different in WP .also the battery won't last a day even if you use it partially for browsing, music, videos,& calling. Android is still better than WP. i would rate it 8 out of 10
