Dual booting. Will this become a good idea? Maybe the hardware should be increased and impact to the price.

All message is for Tech.Chief
Sorry about that beginning of the sentence. What I meant to say is, we could be wrong it might turn out to go fanstically well and people, even devlopers will like it.
All profits and sales in the market will improve better.
I know but you might we could be wrong and ending up going well and being an excellent idea.
So at least people are not limited to one phone with one os. Now they can have two OS in a phone with dual boot.
Maybe samsung, lg, blakcberry and apple might be interested. You'll never know. If they are going to co operate and design dual boot phones with os, then it better be good.
These will cost them like double a fortune to make these technology. Hopefully they'll make larger batteries with 6000mAh or more power to make phones long lasting for weeks and months without having to charge everyday.
I also want the phones not to have unnecessary sevices running in background which drains battery, like in android phones.
That would be really nice and not put spyware and viruses. Let phones be more secure, you know what I mean.

[deleted post]Yeah! Saw that too. I doubt HTC will want Microsoft to take it down the drain with it.
What I see eventually is Microsoft making its OS available for download and with options fordual boot or full rreplacement so that users can buy or try. But trying to get an OEM to go with them is very risky for the manufacturer!
Microsoft is losing focus, they should forget hardware manufacturing and focus on optimizing their OS and making it available for all mobile hardware via downloads.
That's the only survival option for mobile windows!

Thanks for you message I feel better now. I am considering options about what phone to get.
I know the Windows Phone is lacking apps but everyday microsoft will improve by creating and adding more apps.
Guess what I've just read that Microsoft is persuading HTC to make Dual-boots phones that will have Windows Phones OS and Android. They are still in talks about making the phones.
Type "Microsoft want to cram Android" and it will come up in google.

Is a waste of money and time!
Though haven said this, I expect Microsoft employees to storm this section with fake "user reviews " calling it a "beast" and "awesome "
Ok clones. Lets start getting those reviews!!!
Tech.Chief, 23 Nov 2013. . . Another one bites the dust :))))@ Tech Chief...U seem to be Windows phone hater. And you should. because it is not made for Virus like you. It is too fast for you you too understand. I guess you are happy with Your Hangdroid...Millions of applications and most of them poor copy of other applications.
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2013Hi,
Thanks so much for message, it means so, so much for me. I asked a question to NikiDr... moreHi, you are rrig_UK.
You don't need worry about virus and spyware. The system is secure. Now that you (maybe) should see is your need in buying a phone. Windows Phone from my experience using Lumia 520 was lack of apps and games, has many restrictions like video restricted, WhatsApp couldn't send audio and video files like in Android version, couldn't read documents in microSD, etc. If you are never mind about these problems, you can go for Lumia 1520, its specification is very good.
Yasir13, 23 Nov 2013Hello, I really want to buy this phablet badly, but I'm confused because of WP.
So as I read ... moreWindows Phone is not open source system, yes it doesn't has file manager system, all based on supported apps. Bluetooth transfer works very well, videos can be transferred, but the bad thing is video itself is is restricted in Windows Phone, if you receive videos via Bluetooth from other phone, the videos will be saved in Photos, uncommon, not like Android that saved in Bluetooth folder. Limited audio and video problem are found on chat applications like WhatsApp, WeChat. Now it is depend on Microsoft, they will overcome their OS problems or not, no file manager maybe hard to be supported, since they avoid it. For video restriction should wait for Windows Phone 8.1 if this problem will be fixed or not. In the Store there is MoliPlayer that handles video, it is paid.
Windows Phone for me still lack of many apps and games, and OS restriction, if you don't mind about these, go for Lumia 1520.
