Both .xap n .appx formats r supported wp8.1
I downloaded movie maker 8.1 app in .appx n sysapp pusher in .xap
both r installed in wp8.1
I opened store >> options >> install local apps >> both .xap n .appx r there
I practically proved....

Now whenever i use Viber or skype video call via WiFi, the phone gets heated up so much that i am afraid it will burst. Please give some suggestions to avoid this. Is it because of WiFi? Does it happen with 3g? Please help.

Finally brought this beast... Amazing phone... Only problem is getting heated after continuous use..... Need to update to 8.1 this week..

Initially I didn't like the phone because of the OS.But I really love it. The performance is superb. Great value for the price. But I still miss some apps I used on Android. I hope Opera mini will come soon.
