Just one question " Can Vibre & Vonage be used on this Nokia Lumia 530"
Though I know it very well that my review is useless now as the Nokia we know is died but still I think my review will help users to decide the correct mobile suits them.
Nokia previously use symbian as their main any only os still when others moved to android good and bad decision both as symbian is not touch friendly and not modern at all good decision as symbian can be made as like as anroid because it is also highly customiseble as android I am telling this as I have used the last version of it Symbian Belle Fp2 it is too close to be a modern ui but nokia abandoned it like maemo both very very bad decision.
Now come to wp I just wonder who thought about the live tiles ui....! Its good to use 1st time but soon you will be bored by it as it does not have any relation with customization.Though it now supports transparent tiles still it is static. So if you want to get a phone for speed not for custonization you can go with WP.But for others Android or Firefox or Jolla or any other modded android like MIUI will be great.
AnonD-77517, 22 Aug 2014what do you mean by SAR ValueSpecific absorption rate (SAR) is a measure of the rate at which energy is absorbed by the human body when exposed to a radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic field; although, it can also refer to absorption of other forms of energy by tissue, including ultrasound. It is defined as the power absorbed per mass of tissue and has units of watts per kilogram (W/kg)
mirdul, 20 Aug 2014No Front camera is draw back and Battery is also the 2nd one.How can the battery be a drawback if there isn't even a good test done?
ompath, 21 Aug 2014Does anyone know the SAR of this phone? Plz reply.what do you mean by SAR Value
mirdul, 20 Aug 2014No Front camera is draw back and Battery is also the 2nd one.Battary is good in all lumia devices
Wp just has nothing to do with internal memoey as move to sd card tranfers the whole application to sd card...it is not like android...which transfers it to internal memory,..and with 128GB sd card support ,I don't think 4GB internal memory would annoy u...

AnonD-146799, 20 Aug 2014What was the launch price of Lumia 520? The official price of 520 is still higher than 530. Yo... moreYou're right when you compare entry prices, neeraj, but since the specs and hardware are almost identical and MS policy is selling the 530 as a successor you have to compare the two. And at that the 520 wins hand down. Better gpu (check for yourself. Adreno 305 is up to 10times faster than adreno 302) and way better screen. Go to your local store and compare the two. The IPS panel of the 520 is awesome for such a cheap device. I bought it as a backup for my htc one and I think it's an amazing piece.
People need to stop comparing 520 with 530. The two have different prices. Official price of 530 is 7199 and that of 520 is 9399. Check here:
It is the retailers who are pricing 520 less, I am sure they will price 530 less too. The actual successor of 520 is 630 which is priced same. And it has many advantages over 520 such as bigger screen, quad core processor etc.
Anonymous, 19 Aug 2014Huge step back from 520. Thicker, no autofocus, a 4GB internal storage (520 had 8 GB). RIP WP!What was the launch price of Lumia 520? The official price of 520 is still higher than 530. You need to compare phones with identical price. Also, 530 has quad core processor which no reputed brand gives you at 7k.
Don't buy this phone its crappy period... Especially when you come from Android. It’s annoying to press 100 buttons to activate bluetooth for example and it is so freeken slow to and fro other devices for a v4.0 bluetooth app??? The Main screen is to only beautiful feature with Windows 8.1. Other menu's are the crappiest layout ever. I like nice features and this is by far the worse I have seen of all the phones I had... nokia never again. My old Nokia from the 2000 + beats this one...
