Sreejith, 03 Jul 2013hi there ian planning to buy this phone a cross over from and android to windows phone. I have... moreIf you still have the other phone you can transfer the contacts directly via bluetooth using Transfer my Data app that comes built in with WP phones. If not then here are someways you can do that.
1) Use a sim card reader and transfer those contacts to the sim and then import them to the new handset
2) Use someone else phone to read your contact from memory card and then transfer via bluetooth
3.1) Convert all those contacts to one single CSV file(Google "convert vcf to csv").
3.2) Create a live.com ID and upload your newly created csv file to outlook.com
3.3) When you get your phone sign in with the same user ID and password of your live ID that you just created and your contacts will get synced automatically to your phone
4) Since you are coming from Android its more likely that your phone contacts have been synced to the Google Contacts.
4.1) In that case you can directly import your contacts to outlook.com from Google and they will sync to your phone.
5) Again since you are coming from Android, you must be having a gmail account that you intend to use in the WP phone.
5.1) In that case just configure your gmail account in your new phone your gmail contacts will automatically get synced to your phone which will include your phone contacts as well. You can then go into contacts hub and filter the account from which you need your contacts to be shown.
I have listed 5 ways in which you can transfer your contacts from your Android to Windows Phone. Be careful to follow one single method or your will end up having multiple contacts.

Still is xperia J a good choice worth fr the money ??
and how is the JB ve... moreYou are welcome, as I said my expertise are limited in terms of Android and my first few lines of earlier comment say whatever my experience is but according to me for 14K, Xperia J not worth the money. You can always research more. Here is what I do.
1) Go to site like flipkart and check for the available devices in the price range.
2) Shortlist the devices and make a note of their names
3) Do a quick glance on available features and filter some out depending upon my requirements
4) Compare them here on GSMArena and remove some if I find them at the bottom of the chart
5) Read the reviews of all those devices that are left on various websites
6) Watch as many videos of those devices as possible
7) Get a hands on experience by either borrowing from friends or going to retail shop that have live demo piece for you to explore.
I know its a lengthy procedure, but this is what I do. That way I am ready for what I am buying and what sacrifices I will have to make. For example even before buying 620 I knew its battery is not going to be sufficient for me. But that was hardly my problem as I am mostly never away from a charging point. But still I ordered an external battery pack of Nokia DC-16 even before I my bought the phone and now I have even bought a spare battery, so that I keep the external battery pack for travelling purposes.

and how is the JB version ??
Vishal6243, 02 Jul 2013So how is xperia J ?? I want a smooth performance with nyc battery lyf at max of 13000-14000 ... moreXperia J with 512 MB ram and 1GHZ single core processor according to me will give you a good battery life but not much of a smooth performance. The price range you suggested is very complicated to get a balanced device. As far as my knowledge goes Galaxy S Advance is a good choice. Androids in this price range are too under powered and powerful ones are old. If smooth experience and good battery life is your only concern then I suggest going for 520 or increase your budget for 720 or for some other Android. But before you jump on WP train, be ready to make a lot of sacrifices and lot of doing things in a different way. But be assured we will be here to help. Before making any decision, there is guy here on this thread named SuperNexus, he has better knowledge of Android than me. Its better if you consult him once. Put up a post asking his advice, see if he replies, haven't seen him for a long time, don't know if he still active or not.

enapixx, 02 Jul 2013Can you take pictures with the front camera?Yes. You can.
Vishal6243, 02 Jul 2013thanks .... and how is the battery life of the phone ... since i need for atlest a day or more You are welcome, Its battery life is not that good if you want a day or more. My phone's average battery life is 8-9 hrs, with one hour of gaming and one hour of net surfing with 24 whatsapp, gtalk, facebook chat and mail client connected to internet via wifi. But if I go without net connectivity I can easily stretch it to 10-12 hrs with an hour of gaming. If you want a good battery I would suggest either 520 or 720 if you are sticking with WP else would suggest going for Android.
