Hi,
I have recently bought a lumia 630 device from Nokia Store in Gurgaon.
I soon realized that the the phone was heating more than normal specially when used in non air conditioned environment. I got the phone changed with a new one from Nokia store but the problem remains the same. The phone still heats a bit more than normal and I can feel the heat in my palm during moderate use. Even the shop owner during discussion confirmed that Nokia Lumia 630 heats more than other Lumia devices mainly because of the plastic back cover. Please keep this in mind while buying this phone as during long call or playing games this heating things gets very annoying.

And clear ur fact, quad core don't require 1gb r... moreI have same type of mobile and its have same 1.2hz cortex cpu processer and 1 gb of ram but it was chepest function and i m facing much problem .my cpu work on 80 to 100% with using any apps

who said to you that I didn't use android ??? The stupid lagdroid lags even in Temple Run... Lol
and if your android runs without lags then why you use Ram cleaner... Juice defender etc....
If you have proper knowledge of processors and Ram then how can you forget the ever made handset iPhone 4.... Remember that iPhone 4 also have 512 MB of ram....
and at last I know the procedure to move apps to sd card in lagdroids, but this procedure removes your warranty also dude..... LOL

rocketman, 01 Jul 2014I don't own any Android Phone(you are saying it as lagdroid just bcoz u have the WindowS phone... morei completely agree with you that 1 gb ram is required but for the smooth functioning of quad core 1 gb ram is not required as you know windows os 8.1 is more stable os than lagdroid and you know 630 works like buttery smooth and also its one of best low budget phone in the market now.

just got my Nokia and really love it. it runs smoothly, without breaks and pauses, size is just great and it's made really great quality. two things are to be added, a pair of headset and a microSD for extra space (fits 128gb but 64 will be sufficient). it's lower budget phone, but better choice than more expensive devices. it's definitely a best buy ;)

we all r owners of devices before.. n we all knows what is droid.. crap..
if u still not own any then buy one n the use it 2-3 months n then come here to tell ur story about ur android experience.
and who d hell r who told u that quad core chipset is only optimized for 1gb ram devices.. WP OS doesn't need more ram to run smoothly so ther is no problem with quad core which improves performance..
these r gimmick which made by android users coz android still not stable on 2gb ram device and even octa core chipsets..
this higher ram n powerful chipset trend is created by android handset makers to keep running stable ur favorite android..
such worse trend is not necessary for wp n ios users.. coz these oses r runs like charm on lower chipsets n ram..
so no 1 need ur expert advice here.. we all know what we r using.. if u realy want to do something ther r thousands android devices forums.. go n show ur smartness ther..

512 mb ram is not a total issue on windowsphone...
it works so smooth unlike lagdroid... well... try to update your 2.3 gingerbread to kitkat...

using it one week (ex-phone E-7), phone lasting about 43 hours (wi-fi on, positioning off) everything allmost perfect, phone doesnt have led flash, but for this price its ok. connection and other abilities perfect, loudspeker very strong. Removable battery, extendable sd card(up to 128gb)big advantage. processor very fast. Camera not for photo but for documents and like dvr very nice, everything readable. store is nice. Only problem is, New Pc suite needed.windows phones not recognised by Nokia pc suite. and there is no alternative... but again for this price its best phone...

We were very happy and excited... morehi..hope you are fine..i just read your post now.i bought this phone and faced the same problem but then i solve it very easily..its too easy just go to the sim setting and change the settng auto network settng to manual and slect 2G network there your problem will be solvd.if you are not using 3g just off all these thing like data roming,3g and othr things..i am sure your problem will be solve by this ..i did the same and aftr tht i didnt face any problem.

Would u prefer microsoft windows Xp with 512mb of RAM and Quad Core processor? Absolutely Not... quad core can only be utilized to its maximum if there is 1 gb of RAM.
And the other feature u r talking about, yes ..... We can move any android app to SD CARD , but u must have the knowledge of moving it....

Its own media player supports 1920X1080 i.e. 1080......
Not like stupid lagdroids which needs 1 Gb of Ram and mx player to watch 720pxl video.... LOL
Install moliplayer in it and enjoy every type of video without lags...... Haha
Another feature.... We can move our apps to sd cards..... Is it possible in your lagdroid.... :-p

Most of the things i ve heard here is about RAM and Windows phone.I'm using lumia 520 for the last one year.The best thing is I still feel it's freshness.
RAM:
Lumia 520 have 512 Mb RAM.and believe me it's not a PC, it's a mobile and the main thing - "It's windows 8.1(Upgraded to developers preview)".I've downloaded "Asphalt 8" from the store which is having 1.4 Gb size after installation still no lagging.So having 1 Gb RAM is better but dont compare 512 Mb RAM with android devices (Duos)
OS - Windows 8.1
If u r a user who is using apps store as google (:D) u will get disappointed .Because in google play even if u search for "How to get six pack in one day" it will show more than 1000 apps.It's different in wp.Quality not only quantity matters. and u can have all famous apps from windows store (Sad news still no candy crush only if u r an addict). WP 8.1 FAST & FLUID.
Go ahead "Try something new" One thing People will start asking u .. Hows the phone??
