This is a great update on nokia lumia 520, i own a nokia 520 and although it has only 512 of ram it doesnt really matter, because all the apps i have are supported or it is already on windows phone.
im also satisfied with 5 megapixel camera of lumia 520, with this phone im sure i will mot be disappointes even though lumia 630 doesnt have front facing camera like my lumia 520.
and connectivity got me all covered...
on games im not really a gamer so any games will suffice..
so the bottom line is, if you dont like this phone you can search for other phone which suites your preference.
Every thing is good in this phone. Even 512 mb ram people will buy. But wait no Flash? 100% deal breaker for Nokia fans.
fakhre alam, 19 Apr 2014LOL with only 512mb ram it will be able to manage 128GB sd card. hahaha8 apps run in android it consume 68% of ram but in windows it consume only 9.5%.so dnt differenciate in the matter of ram with any android phone.
LOL with only 512mb ram it will be able to manage 128GB sd card. hahaha
dgreatkevin, 17 Apr 2014well you can have a motorola moto g for 169 dollars. its so much better than this nokia 630 t... moreTroll, in India Moto G's price is 13k i.e. 210+$.. I think nokia will priced it below 10.5k
dgreatkevin, 17 Apr 2014nokia phones needs front facing camera and flash. Troll, all nokia phone has flash and ffc except this and 5** series.
I am a WP user since forever. Starting with the old Win Mobile, then the legacy phones WP7. I consider buying this phone but the 512Mb RAM is definitely a deal breaker. I am going to take you back in time with the early Lumias. The low range class had only 256Mb RAM. The late Skype release left those consumers hugely mislead because it runs on 512 RAM. Mere 4-5 months from now most major apps will ask 1GB of RAM. The same old story.
512mb better than 1gb get outta here..... I have seen moto g working flawlessly on kitkat without any hiccups and was able to play latest games too.Just because you are a wp fan doesn't give you a right to Spread lies..
ur expert, 16 Apr 2014I don't know why people are whining about 1GB RAM. Have you seen it price? It is for $160. It ... moreBut Lumia 525 does cost lesser than the Nokia Lumia 630 in some countries such as Malaysia. So there is nothing wrong for claiming 1GB of ram in this updated phone.

its so much better than this nokia 630 to be honest.
go search it out.
I don't know why people are whining about 1GB RAM. Have you seen it price? It is for $160. It is not a flagship phone, it is just a low end phone. You can't have everything at such price. Seriously, you want FFC, flash and 1GB Ram at $160 price? Which phone is providing those specs at that price? (Moto G is different thing, it is not available everywhere too. It costs $200+ in my country for 8GB model and it lacks micro SD slot too)
Stop whining and comparing it to 525 and 620. Both phones are more expensive than 635. Lumia 525 and 620 cost $180 while this phone costs $160. Its a budget phone, you can't have everything at this price.
If you think Chinese branded Androids are better at this price then Good luck with those phones!
Dude, just forgot about specs. Not any other brand will give u this much in just $159.
Talking about ram. Ask windows user 512mb ram is enough for any app or game
And flash!!! Many of bif brands are olso not providing flash. Buy a camara at this price for flash.
And nokia gives clear black screeñ, gorrila glass 3, w8.1 Os what abt that
1 GP Ram and LED flash are inevitable for smart phone of this kind.
This could have been a great starter phone if it wasn't for that 512mb RAM. I see it has been stripped off sensors and extras - no LED, no gyro, no compass. That is OK. How come you put a Gorilla Glass 3 and a quad-core processor but you decide you will cut some expenses with the 512mb of RAM? I can't honestly understand how the entry class Lumia is only one step away from the flagship Lumia. Everything between 525 and 930 is a waste of parts and isn't justified as a price. Who in his right mind is going to spend another 100-150 EUR on a LED?
