This could have been a great starter phone if it wasn't for that 512mb RAM. I see it has been stripped off sensors and extras - no LED, no gyro, no compass. That is OK. How come you put a Gorilla Glass 3 and a quad-core processor but you decide you will cut some expenses with the 512mb of RAM? I can't honestly understand how the entry class Lumia is only one step away from the flagship Lumia. Everything between 525 and 930 is a waste of parts and isn't justified as a price. Who in his right mind is going to spend another 100-150 EUR on a LED?

Before, in 2013 there was a difference between choosing the 620 to the 520.
Now in 2014 the 630 is basically the same phone as the 525 ??!?!?!

Sure 512MB of RAM is not a problem, WP is much more efficient than android, but I don't really get why they removed the flash and front camera from the 625 to make the 630/635 while also reducing screen size and video size (the 625 shoots 1080p). The only excuse I can think of is that these will sell for $150, because there's nothing to make them cost more than the 625 even if the number makes it look like an upgrade.

in this era no front camera and flash nokia atleast add frontcamera and rest of features are good.

The configuration says, this phone is gonna be another loss project for Nokia, because, no flash for rear camera, no front camera, lack of sensors, insufficient ram 512 only, undoubtedly not good enough to run many apps at a time, so with all deficiencies, very few would be interested on this phone.

512MB ram with Quadcore 1.2ghz cpu and WP 8.1 on board will be able to play games previously requiring 1gb ram with dual core on WP8. Wishfull thinking...Hope not.

You all r requested not to compare lumia with 512MB to an android with 1GB. Go to any nearest NOKIA CARE centre and get a LIVE DEMO of Lumia with 512MB RAM and U will feel like as if it has 1 GB RAM. WP with 512MB RAM works more smoothly than of ANDROID with 1GB RAM. Because this OS has unique Architecture u will Feel this. I Accept Some games like TR2, and subway Surfer work on 1GB RAM on WP but the optimization work is still in process and soon u will be able to play these games on 512MB RAM WP Devices Too... :)
