migZster, 24 Oct 2014I have been reading all the comments and people some people don't really know what's a Windows... moreNice analysis.....all those who were raising all these questions, answered above seems to b unfamiliar of WPs. Even a dual core with 512mb ram is enough to run lumia very smoothly while 735 is quad core with 1gb ram. I simply love the Lumia devices. Being very very smooth is their best plus. Tired of sony & samsung hangdroids
migZster, 24 Oct 2014I have been reading all the comments and people some people don't really know what's a Windows... moreYes it does have 1 gig ram and how can you compare crappy Sony E3 to this?? And yes WP does have a home key you don't know much do you??
lol-?it has a 1gb of ram not 512.can u read or buy one before u make comment....looooollllll
migZster, 24 Oct 2014I have been reading all the comments and people some people don't really know what's a Windows... moreYou are saying the 735 has 512mb ram,but every where says 1gb.So who's correct?
I've been looking at this phone since launch, it has what it needs to be useful. Apps aren't useful since I have most of the ones I need. However one thing that bugs me is that I am considering buying a companion camera for my smartphone as many have nfc nowadays, however Canon/Sony don't appear to have app yet for windows.
migZster, 24 Oct 2014I have been reading all the comments and people some people don't really know what's a Windows... moreGood insights.
Do you need an MS account to make full use of the phone and MS services? The idea that you could be locked out of the phone/files doesn't sound appealing.
migZster, 24 Oct 2014I have been reading all the comments and people some people don't really know what's a Windows... more1.thiz phone have 1gb ram not 512mb
2.this phone don't have optical image stabilization (ois)on its camera
I have been reading all the comments and people some people don't really know what's a Windows Phone. Okay, let's start:
1. "The Lumia 730 has only 512 RAM"
Please, do not open 730 topics on this thread. But to answer this, 512 RAM is already good for Windows Phone. It can kick the Samsung S4's butt and it's not laggy.
2. "1.2ghz disappoints me"
Windows Phone is using a Qualcomm Atheros Quad-Core 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 400 Processor with A7- Cortex CPU and powered by Adreno 305 Graphics. Even with a Dual Core 1.2 Ghz (on HTC 8X) can be used in this Smartphone. As I said, this phone can kick Android's butt and it's not laggy.
3. "6.7 MP camera, Epic Fail!"
This Smartphone is using a BSI 6.1 MP PureView Camera with Carl Zeiss Optic Lens. It also has Optical Image Stabilization. Another is that Microsoft has its own Camera App that enhances the Photography Experiences of each users. So this is not an Epic Fail, it has been balanced.
4. "Camera should be 10MP"
The phone is a budget selfie phone. Microsoft created this phone to make the customers focus more over the Front Camera which is has a BSI 5MP sensor. Now, if they added a 10MP camera at the back, then it won't be called a Selfie Phone and they will likely decrease an amount of MP on the Front Camera. That's why there is the Lumia 830 which has the 10MP Rear Camera. As I said on #3, they balanced everything so that customers will have an option. It's Marketing Strategy. And if they did push the 10MP on the Rear Camera, it will likely add another $ over the price.
5. "It should have a dedicated home button like Android"
Windows Phone has their dedicated "Virtual" button called the "Windows" Button which can be found in the display. Actually this is a good move to increase the screen display. Their previous models have a physical touch buttons.
6. "cannot make net calls androd and ios is better"
You sure? Because AFAIK, video calling is one of Microsoft's asset and the focus of this phone. It's either you haven't tried this phone or you're a troll and a Android/Apple fanboy.
7. "What's the best? Lumia 735 or Sony Xperia C3"
I'm also torn with this 2 phones :D Sony Xperia C3 has Screen Mirroring, a better battery (2500 mAh) and larger screen. Downside is Battery is Non-Removable and not sure yet if it will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update. While Windows Lumia 735 has the latest Lumia Denim Update, a Removable Battery, Storage Expansion up to 128 GB via Micro SD Card. For me, better choose Lumia :D
I've been using Android phones before when I purchased the HTC 8X Windows Phone. And I can even assure you that LG G2 and Samsung S4 can't beat the Windows Lumia 735 when it comes to performance. The only thing that Android won the hearts of many because of APPS. Windows Store only has few APPS but are usable. The only thing that I could have wished for this phone is the Screen Mirroring. It has Screen Projection but you will be required to by an accessory for it.
Buy a Windows Phone and you'll know the difference. Those who commented that I have mentioned above surely haven't used a Windows Phone or considered "TROLLS". I'm still waiting for this phone to arrive here in the Philippines but I'll buy this in December until my 13th Month Pay arrives :3
Note: Sorry if I need to REPOST this, I edited some parts because there is no EDIT button. Seriously, please make an EDIT button so we can EDIT what we have posted. At least for those "Other" users to edit, put PASSWORDS for security purposes.
