Rohan, 05 Jan 2012hey guys, i am a proud android. lg optimus user now, i was die hard nokia fan, used most of th... morei disagree with you i think it was a good move by nokia to opt for windows android is now used by all crap chinese and indian companies, also android race is almost won by samsung,so only way for nokia is to take an alternative route with windows, mango os has some restrictions, but i believe appolo and tango os,will proppel nokia and windows to the top.
Tried the Lumia 800 and the UI is ridiculously smooth. Smoother than any Android I've tried. This is what a mobile phone should feel like.
Google really needs to work on that.
......after Mr Stephen Elop declaring (too early) to abandoned Symbian and Meego platforms, publics have suddenly losing interest on Nokia.
Now, Mr Elop should be fully responsible to made window platform a full success to regain peoples confidence again.

so, you re a mobile store waiters ?
...seeing several handsets stored by showroom owners.
..... strong body built handset, but still unable to performed full functions of smart fone.
may be Apollo OS could bring some improvement.
I think they should fire Elop (the trojan horse from microsoft)and concentrate again on building good smartphones! since they decided to use only wp7 they brought out 2 smartphones. thats all. before they brought out many more phones.
well there is a rumor that elop plans to sell the smartphone part from nokia to microsoft and then return to microsoft.
a finnish ceo would be much better for nokia.
I have the nokia for 2 weeks.
Everybody that says that it is freezing, is lying.
hey guys, i am a proud android. lg optimus user now, i was die hard nokia fan, used most of the symbian handsets last one was 5800, but when i heard nokia dumped android for stupid mango 7.5 i started hate nokia. but stil nokia is a hardware king, if lumia 800 have come with android then that would be the big hit. nokia can beat any smartphone if it launch a android based handset. why WP7...!
Kevin, 05 Jan 2012To be true motorola handsets are way ahead in terms of design and performance than nokia..moto... morewho asked u abt the moto when it's all abt lumia.u think moto phones are beautiful than nokia, look at them they wouldnt(motorola, samsung) have survived in the global smartphone race without android.nokia alone was the leader in that segment for many years and still holds the crown for being the world's largest phonemaker.nokia's products are driven by innovation (edsign, concept),just observe the wonderful swipe concept on n9,nokia luna are some among others.
I am a phone freak i have had every phone available over the past few years i have had all the iphones and most of the android phones always top spec as well.. i was bored with android and the way it worked ios works great but got bored with that as well blackberry you either love or hate them...now the nokia lumina 800 ive had it a week and i have to say very impressive no crashes unlike android very smooth overall a very nice phone that will get better.. i sometimes think that people who criticize phones on here either work for the competitors or don't have a clue what they are talking about.
[deleted post]Right guy,
just watch ....razr xt910 unboxing by gsmarena,
"Motoprint" is a wonderful feature of razr, it allow you to easily print photos and documents from any printer.
Also, moto smartcast allow you to access your home/Office desktop documents from anywhere in the world.
hi guys i would like to share my experience...
I am from South Africa my phone came from UK from carphone warehouse..
I am using it for 4 days now.
my past phones are samsung galaxy s2,nokia n9 and now the lumia 800..
firstky none are perfect phones.
regarding the lumia 800,half off the posts i see here are either haters or people faking they used this phone.
The OS is excellent in my view,Yes the N9 multitasking is much better.
The battery is the weakest off the three phones and it is a bit off a low point but i have learnt to manage it so it seesm to be improving.
As for freezing guys the phone does not freez at all,my G2 used to freeze this does not.
The design is a beuty really and great fell.
weight could have been down woyld have been better.
The front camera for me makes no differnce.I would have liked a memory card slot and bluetooth transfer oh and yes the sync is a problem but you can get your contacts transferred by downloading the app
the apps on droid are better no doubt.
i must say i really like the phone it needs a few touch ups but overall it seems a very nice phone.
the apps like profiles and sms could help..
In my view if it had a few more apps and better battery it would be about the best on the market.
the strange thing is the snyc with outlook being a windows OS
