thanks for that information that videos/ musics could transcoded through MS Zune.
But one thing is certain that you can never play videos or movies directly from websites with both lumias due to lack of window platform support.(only play after transcoding via zune from inbuilt memory storage).
with gs2, ip4s or other smart phones you can freely enjoying watching videos /movies, news , music
directly without downloading.

But even then the difference isn't that exagerrated. My experience with both phones was that the Lumia was significantly better overall compared to the 4S. I guess mileage may vary from time to time...
