Anonymous, 21 Nov 2011Lumia 800 requires the following upgrades:
1. Camera as N8 camera
2. Dual core processor
3.... moreWhy does it need a Dual core just to say that it
has one with no use at all. I tried the phone if Android could be this smooth i might think of trying them again. But there have been complaints that there flagship ICS phone lags.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2011Everyone knows that the N9 has very limited developer support. It has very few apps. Everyone ... moreAnd I want people like you to stop pretending to know what other people should use and stop worshipping buttons. Buttons suck. They are a mess. They look bad. Also, they cause more navigation errors than Swipe UI does.
Clash, 21 Nov 2011 but galaxy y s5360 at $ 136 is still better than this incompleted fone.
So, what U thin... moreI think the performance of this device kills every Android handset on the market now. It is just faster, better software.
I am a nokia lover but that is impossible to popular a handset without font camera at this price range. X7 is the example of that. Nokia please think about that.

swipe is amazing and easy to use for everyone... moreEveryone knows that the N9 has very limited developer support. It has very few apps. Everyone in favour of the N9 uses the defence that 'I don't need third-party apps/the current apps are decent' when in actual fact, the shortage of apps just goes to show that the device you just bought is dying. I watched videos of the N9 when I was interested in it and realised the whole swype technique is flawed. 'Swype from the edge and it puts the app into multitasking'. You do realise that when swyping through songs I saw countless times that the person accidentally swyped it away. And it also happened when using the browser.
The Nokia Lumia 800 is nicer than the N9. Metro Ui is very simple and therefore it is 'smooth as butter'. Just you wait, when the Apollo update is released, even better things will come and you will be sitting their, waiting for an update to come to your N9. Nokia ditched MeeGo for a reason and now has a partnership with Microsoft which means that they will be working hard in order to make Windows Phone its own. They already have Nokia Drive, Music, etc. and there is more to come. Windows Phone is so simple that people think its dumb when its not. There is not reason to overcomplicate a phone. The N9 is trying to be innovative with the whole swyping function but without buttons, you're making it harder for yourself. I want a button that takes me back, I want a button that brings me back to the homepage and I want a search button.
Lex123, 20 Nov 2011neither android... :)yeah, right.
Try creating a complex document (tables; graphics; headers, footers, etc) in MS Word 2010 on your PC. Send it to your Android, then edit on Android, save it, and send it back to your PC. Tell me what you get when your done ;-)

Why?did Nokia release this phone when they knew it had batterylife problems its totally disgusting, how can they switch from Symbian when there batteries would last between 2-3 days an with Windows only just lasting a day,Nokia better sort this problem out quickly or yet again the N97 failure there Windows phones will end up putting them in more trouble with another failure again choosing Windows

Yeah, from a pure power-user point of view, the N9 leaves Windows Phone for dead. But, for the vast majority of smart phone users (read "iphone" users), the kind of power the N9 offers would be wasted.
Windows Phone offers a unique UX that is targeting the regular consumers, not the power-users. For most people, this means being able to Facebook; Twitter; Messaging; Listen to Music (Zune Pass); record and playback videos; YouTube; Take and Share Photos; Create, Edit and Share MS Office documents; Play games; Keep up to date with current weather and news events; send and recieve emails; surf the web; and make phone calls. Applications are a bonus and Windows Phone Marketplace is growing daily with good apps. IMO, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango integrates so much versatility so well, and its presented in a consumer friedly way that is unique to anything else that is out there -- N9 included.
