'N' Fan, 03 Nov 2011Specs are decent but not outstanding..Make ur next LUMIA phone with following specs and name i... moreDO one thing..open ur own company and put all your specifications into that and see what it takes to make a phone like that..i dont understand why fools like u want so much from a device whose basic purpose is just to communicate...with all your specifications listed above which one is required to comunicate...if u want these specifications buy a goddamn laptop or pc..dont buy a mobile phone...
I like Lumia 800. Much better than any other Windows phone in the market.
I think the hardware restriction is a software restriction. I mean maybe windows 7.5 doesn't support dual core cpu and that's because we don't see windows phone with hardware just android phone.
This won't be a hit if this will have to be sold at the same price with another smartphone with more features like front cam, external sd slot, battery life, screen size, no java?, etc. If nokia/MS wants to get a big piece of the pie, they have to compete better than this. I look up to these two companies with nokia on the hardware, and MS on the software. I just don't know why their combined efforts look lame. Not a good tactic. Look at android. They start you with a big bang! then sell in lower specd models. The point there is gain your reputation first!
Specs are decent but not outstanding..Make ur next LUMIA phone with following specs and name it "LUMIA N"

2)1.2 or 1.4 GHz Dual core processor
4)1GB or 1.25GB of RAM
5)16GB internal and 32gb expandable memory
6)at-least 4GB should be accessible for user especially for apps

no front camera & no memory slot.. i dont think this phone set cant b satisfied us.. i dont want to buy it honestly personally..
I honestly cant get excited about this phone...yeah its beautiful and is well designed and?????????? so many ( maybe dozens) of other phones out there with similar or better specs and features. and better windows 7 phones also.... all i see is nokia and mango..........this just doesnt look good. is the nokia name really gonna let people buy this phone? its just nokias brand on an already average windows 7 os thats not doing too well.... time will tell.
AnonD-28813, 02 Nov 2011Can anybody tell me whether it has wi fi teethering?I'm pretty sure it does.
saurav, 02 Nov 2011then Nokia N9 have a secondary camera..!That's a pathetic excuse. Nokia N9 isn't WP(window phone). It has Meego os.
htc titan(wp) has ffc(front facing camera) and samsung focus s(wp) as well. apart from extreme hardcore nokia fanboys why should we buy lumia 800 or even N9 which clearly lack some features at this price range. it doesn't make any sense.
It has gorilla glass. According to Nokia the reason why no front camera is due to the bigger processor and capacitive buttons.
Once review samsung i780- world's best feature combination phone...3G, Frong Cam, track pad, mouse, physical querty, touchscreen, dual speakers, 624MHz processor, best battery management, best call manager. only lacks with 2MP camera...
I hv tried more than 10 business phones
I am using it for three years, now purchased nokia e6 but even now not willing to leave that phone...
Really a all in one phone.........I loved this
No ff cam
No card slod
Although these are not frequently required but when i need it will miss it.
These may not be must have but these are should have features.
Applications OK i am not going to use more than 6-7 apps at a time but when i need one i should be able to easily download and extend my phone functionality.
