WiseOldMan, 27 Oct 2011One word. Laughable ! This phone is a joke. Hey it's October 2011 now and dual core is a minim... moreNo one is pushing this phone down your throat. For someone who spent quite a few good minutes to write down his own opinion on this forum I can say that you are pretty inteligent in crappping on something that you don't like.
My favorite one is when you mention about the processing power: since when dual core became a must have powerplant? Its all about how thirsty the OS and running apps/software are. The fact you need dual core to run latest android OS means only one thing: POORLY DESIGNED SOFTWARE.
I wish you all the best with your new purchase.
And by the way, I am an Iphone 4 user. But Nokia is going in the right direction. Smart people can see that.
No secondary camera that's a minus :|
I think this the most beautiful and undefinable product
yaaahahahoo I love Nokia products
it is very..
Why does Nokia doesn't improve its RAM? Why is it 512mb only? :(

And watch the Nokia Conversation video that discusses this Nokia Lumia 800.
Its great.
1.3 GHz processor , it 'll fast.
Obviously u guys don't understand Nokia, how they operate.
They cannot give you everything you want in one device (market strategy)
If it has front camera and all those other simple features, what need will u have of their next phone.
Look at N8 and C7, they feature one thing in this n not in the other. All this is for u not to stop at/with one. They need u to keep changing ur phones.
I suggest u wait for their next phones if this one does not have some of the things u love but do have it in mind that the next production will still lack something(s) important
Pirate001, 27 Oct 2011Does Lumia 800 have a document editor or viewer? A viewer only will be a great deal breaker!its got microsoft office 365
you can:
- view / edit / create notes using Onenote
- view / edit / create Word Documents
- view / edit / create Excel Spreadsheets
- view / edit Powerpoint Presentations
- view / edit Text files using Word
To add to the list, you can install Adobe Reader to view PDF files (its free from marketplace)
NB, 27 Oct 2011People will regret after buying this phone for sureWhy? Is it because they wont want to go back to or use android or something else. Let people decide what they want to buy. If they try the os they wont be dissapointed as its mango
Sandra, 26 Oct 2011Why have they made it to take a micro SIM only? Do they think iPhone users are going to abando... moretry cutting your regular sim to MicroSIM size using a scissors (its really easy) - and you can find microSIM card adapters to be used on regular SIM Card slots
No front camera, no micro-sd slot..!! we expected an All in one phone from Nokia.
simba, 25 Oct 2011WP7 UI is so simple and practical! I am Sick of icons on desktops, laptops, and android and iO... moreTotally agree, for those who haven't tried WP7 yet,
the OS simply grows on you. I had android, but then grew tired of making customizations. WP7 gives you lesser options for customizations, but they are bold, simple & elegant to say the least, and hugely practical too!
thick as 1st generation iPhone from 2007. what are they exactly thinking?
