pg2900, 15 Feb 2013what about ''other'' folder issue......@ pg2900
Major, MAJOR problem; and one that more and more users are complaining about. When I purchased my 820 the 'Other' folder was already on 404Mb, and that was without using the phone. The folder swiftly grew to over 1GB, which was 1/8 of my internal memory gone. I've read of some people finding the folder growing to over 9Gb on their 920. (see my previous post with screenshots).
Microsoft refuse to admit that it is a problem. I solved mine, I sold it! There is no way I wanted to keep a phone with a problem like that.
hi friends check this link and know about Lumia phones
++Very Fluid touch experience
--If you tune up/down your music volume. phone ringing volume will also change.
--no File manager, you cant find a file in SD cart which is not supported by WP8
Dear friends, I have purchased this phone 4 days back. It lacks some very basic functions like
**you cannot attach a file (doc, excel ) while replying or forwarding to a mail from your mailbox (although you can share a file through mail, but that will not have any link or reference to the mail you intent to reply or forward, e.g. you cannot attach your resume to the reply of a consultant’s mail, asking for your resume)
** you can attach only one file in a mail (obviously in a fresh mail, not in a reply/forward mail)
** You cannot download a file which is not supported by WP8 (e.g. you cannot download .mkv / .zip / .rar / .exe file for later viewing/using in other devices)
**There is no option for USB tethering
** You cannot edit older MSOffice 2007 document with extension .doc
**Nokia Customer Care are novice, their knowledge is very limited

8GB with a card slot that support 64GB SD card is not so bad after all. I just hope that they have the same card slot for the Lumia 920. 32GB is not enough more smart phone.

workkiller, 14 Feb 2013You have to buy the NFC shell buddy. It costs 900 INR for me.Thanks for the reply, so for 900 INR extra I would get the NFC and Wireless charging capable shell. Any idea of the phone's current market price?

@ShAnNaN: 820 needs separate NFC covers. Haven't used much but testing with Nokia Essence BT-headset seemed to work ok.
After ~1 month of using the device is working fine. Getting 1.5d of usage with a battery charge. Camera may not be as good as on 920 but just fine for my purposes.
Now that Spotify is a available I am not missing any apps.
