if Nokia really wants to come back and compete they should release another model with multicore proc, lots of RAM and all the other neat stuff ASAP. No need to wait until WP8 with multicore support will come out. Just make sure that OS will be upgradable so users who would buy it with WP7.5 could upgrade it in a future to WP8.
All brands that were running boring windows os have all dissapeared. Nokia is going to follow that trend if they keep making the same mistake of joining boring windows. Brands that dissapeared because they were running boring windows include toshiba, hp, imate, the list continues....
The world has changed.
I also like WP advocates...
Wait till WP7 gets released! It'll kick
iPhone's and Android's ass!
... WP7 releases, nothing!
Wait till the NoDo releases! It's going
to be a bomb!
... NoDo comes out, nothing!
No, no wait till Mango! Mango will
... Mango is out, nothing!
It wasn't the Mango, we meant
Tango, wait till Tango!
... Tango is out... nothing!
Naah, this was all nothing, wait for the
real game changer, WP8! When it's
out, it's going to destroy the iPhone
LOL, aren't you tired? WP sucks!
Anonymous, 28 Apr 2012I believe WP will be the #1 OS in a few years time......hope APOLLO platform might bring some improvement in future. but, ms "ZUNE" presence in the current window 7.5 platform is the main hurdle for most customers in choosing window phones. since ZUNE put window phones in a real useless position without laptop/desktop helps !!!! ....When it came to window phone's files ,videos, contact transferring and management.
Should I ever thought getting a Nokia again, forget it. At a 150 euro a month atiil have to pay 30 euro. For a phone 1,5 years newer but lesser specs than my Nexus S, forget it Nokia.
Also not looking for windows with every 5 seconds an update,
Nokia your asking to much for this phone, So wake up and drop the prices you will sell more units I'm sure. At the moment win 7.5 is not offering that much in the way of users experience. Yes the OS runs smooth, but hay theres not a lot going on in this OS so yes it should be smooth. You only have two layers one with big fat icons and other just lists the applications installed on the phone. Yes its simple OS to get a grip with, but just to simple in my minds eye. If i install Windows 3.1 on my desktop it runs very smooth, but does this mean i what it no or has any real use.
thsi phone is waste correct mobile for nokia lovers is if u put heavy budget nokia x7 ( or ) e7..........
these phones are superb specifications
if u put low budget nokia c6 ( or ) c7 is suitable....range and cost.........
Ain't this supposed to be Nokia's best coming phone? 512MB RAM, 1.4Ghz CPU, how this supposed to compete with the current smartphone war??
luke, 26 Apr 2012standby time only 300h.. Very useless phoneIts a great phone no matter which way you look at....and Luke 300 hours not enough...you go up to 12 days without a power outlet..do you live in a cave?
All I want is a Nokia tablet with 10 inch screen with clear black and curved glass (just like the Lumia 800), hell i just want an oversized lumia 800 with a better battery and screen reso.
With the pureview camera... mmmm tempting.
ivan, 23 Apr 2012i have nokia e7 and i am tottally dissapointed with this device, before launch a new hardware ... morePlease note that E7 is only equipped with a feeble 680 MHz processor and it is symbian. While this phone is equipped with 1,4 GHz processor which is fast. My Sony ericsson xperia neo V is equipped with 1 GHz processor, and I admit, its performance is awesome.
If this device is equipped with such processor, therefore it is responsive and fast. Also, this is armed with an 8 megapixel auto focus camera and is capable of taking 720p videos.
Please study your facts before jumping into conclusions.
Skeeter, 24 Apr 2012The reason it has a 1.4 single core processor is because Windows doesn't need it. The same way... more...everybody respect and like nokia phones for the built qualities, there is no compromised on this structural durabilities issue. yet in this softwares competetive era of smart phones markets, the real winner is the one who could give maximum comforts and facillities to their comsumers, at the best resonable price values for their products (intensive advertisement would'nt help much coz, through internet everybody could thouroghly access any expensive product's details before finalising the purchased this days ). veryone knows why BB RIM is falling ?.it is due to the selfishness and stagnation of innovative ideas. likewise if nokia is not listening to their makers (customers) and bound with selfish ideas and refusing to accepted the world of reallity due to foolish egos. then only time will tells that the Colarado river bed is too deep and stiff to climb up once falls down........
