MeandMe, 04 Mar 2013Thanks a lot for ur advices Rahul and anonymous .. Apps are not big deal for me...I worried... moreI used both Symbian and WP8. To be honest I don't regret using WP8 now. I used different OS, Android was my latest. But I used Symbian on my Nokia X7 as well. Now I changed to WP8 I'm more than happy with it. The OS is different, smooth, it looks good, and in combination with the Lumia 920 it's fantastic. But that is my opinion.
Thanks a lot for ur advices Rahul and anonymous ..
Apps are not big deal for me...I worried about some lack of friendlessness of symbian specially in msg area and gallery.....Thats why i'm thinking of go for 920...
sometimes it hangs....
I'm so confusing what choose ?????? WP8 on 920 or keep symbian on 808....
hardware wise & touch is excellent but in part of application is not to good as compare anorid & apple. so add some good games like (temple run etc.) and add some fine & good & nice .... games & app.
Just used Lumia 920 and here is the indepth points:-
a.) Display is very vivid and is almost best then any other device in this price segment.
b.) Windows 8 is a very rich and fast browser based on performance and one should really try internet usage on it.
c.) Camera is highlighting feature as its the best camera used in any of todays smartphones.
d.) Office skydrive xbox makes this device a cool package for a business person.
e.) Nokia music provides unlimited songs totally free for downloading which is paid in Iphone's itunes and sound quality is excellent.
f.) Overall usage is excellent and i never face any issue or has no complaint in terms of usage.
g.) Look wise its premium and classy and is having a very high class material for hardware.
a.) App store is very disappointing as not even temple run is available.
b.) Battery backup is average.
c.) No wireless charging plate received.
The way Nokia is doing advertisement in Indian TV channel for Lumia 920 it looks Nokia is lunching Camera. I believe Nokia should really highlight the some new & excellent mobile feature.
[deleted post]No, there is no official google app available. There are some third party apps, but you cannot video chat in Gmail.

MeandMe, 03 Mar 2013Hi Rahul I want something to know...I already have Nokia808....but I'm thinking of go for 9... moreThe only area where 920 can beat 808 is low light imaging, however 808 has xenon flash and 920 has dual led flash which is great too bt cant beat a xenon flash and 90 of 100 occasions we shooting at day so by camera point of view not a very great difference, you can also view camera review on gsmarea itself and I agree with. Note that 920 can blow any phone in market in low light imaging without flash even 808.
willboyce, 03 Mar 2013Well i dissagree. I love the fresh approach platform. All androids the same. ZzzzI didn't mean looks. I meant features, freedom, functionality and apps. Anyway, if your usage is up to the extent what WP offers, then you will remain satisfied. For me, it's not giving me some very basic things that are crucial for me and I was used to have in my previous E series and N series phones. At the moment, I am just stranded, waiting and waiting for apps and updates.
Anonymous, 03 Mar 2013Correct. Nobody denies. The real pain is WP.Well i dissagree. I love the fresh approach platform. All androids the same. Zzzz
this smartphone is for smart user.. games? less games? games is not all. u will get bored with games just like me cuz im not a kid who need games.. more app on android? most of them is sucks.. im android user n getting bored with my samsung n sony.. diff brand but same app.. same os.. so, nokia is very diff n attractive..
willboyce, 02 Mar 2013Nokia is best. End offCorrect. Nobody denies. The real pain is WP.
MeandMe, 03 Mar 2013Hi Rahul
I want something to know...I already have Nokia808....but I'm thinking of go for 9... moreMy dear, Symbian is the father of smartphones. WP is still a child. There are pros and cons of WP. But your comment "low apps" gives me the idea that you are leaving Symbian due to lack of apps. TRUST ME, L920 may be a very good phone, but DO NOT leave Symbian for WP.
And by the way, if you still do it, don't forget to comment after roughly one month of usage. You will regret.
MeandMe, 03 Mar 2013Hi Rahul
I want something to know...I already have Nokia808....but I'm thinking of go for 9... moreThe Lumia 920 doesn't have a notification light as like the Nokia 808. The screen does light up when you recieve a message.
I would deffinately reccomnd this phone by the way, it's a great device.
Rahul 920.1, 03 Mar 2013i understands you, even i do have some disappointment with the os but not given up yet, eagerl... moreHi Rahul
