Taz26, 02 Mar 2013I got this phone n compared to my old Galaxy S2 Android there r lot of features missing there'... more@taz, there is no file manager but you can connect with your pc via usb and can add /delete the files
There are apps available to toggle Bluetooth, wifi etc. You can add live tiles to your home screen which take you to Bluetooth / wifi setup page (works for me )
there is no temple run but there are many good games here. And when i bought my first android, i didn't buy it for temple run. Games are for time pass and there are lot others available. Temple run may soon follow
Google android and windows phone are competitors. that explains why u miss your google propritery apps. But still, you got many good youtube apps here, google search app is available, you can set up google imap / pop email. You can use your google contacts. You can use your google Calender and there are some good Calender apps that support google Calender ( like My Daily Planner). And finally for google maps, you got much much better nokia maps and nokia drive which don't even require internet connection to run. Then you got skydrive in place of google drive.
For editing pics you can use fantasia, lomograph and creative studio etc. They are really good.
There is no opera but you can find other good browsers like nokia express and uc browser etc
I have seen a number if new apps within the last one month and they are increasing. More and more developers are showing interest in windows marketplace.
you can use APP HIGHLIGHTS to find some good apps.
As you would have noticed that there are many good things about this phone also like city lens, nokia drive, best display, pre installed OFFICE, 1 year of nokia music free etc etc etc
And last but not the least, Samsung cant match the build quality of Lumia920. The display is rock solid. Can be used with gloves on, wireless charging, polycarbonate body, revolutionary pure view camera etc etc
So be positive, look at the bright things and be happy

I got this phone n compared to my old Galaxy S2 Android there r lot of features missing there's no file manager, quick toggles n most importantly it lacks apps tht I had for my android before I thought this phone had apps like instagram n temple run... N most importantly it lacks Google Apps! I am so sad after buying it with lot's of cash now I can't even change this phone n go for Android. Android was much better... The Camera is good but there were some apps on Android tht I could use to edit pics now don't find those suitable apps to edit pics... On Android I could I get cracked apps from my friends via Bluetooth don't find this feature on 920 It was my mistake thinking Nokia has changed. Truly windowsphone is far behind compared to Android N Apple :-(

Help me guys....Now I have Nokia 808..but i'm thinking of buying this 920....I have some problems...
Does 920 have any notification way to notify new massage or miss call ? like breathing light on 808 (I know 920 doesn't support for sleeping screen)..Is there any method for that ?

All needs fulfilled by Lumia 920. Haters should try first. It gives very different feeling than iphone/android. Feel it love it.

AnonD-80584, 27 Feb 2013its funny you say that.. and its funny how you target the "lumia series".. i have ye... moreI av gotta lot of apps fr free...in a flag of second I cn go to plystore n downld....bt in windows cn u....my mob s HTC one x....it never freezes ,,,and I av been using it since august...abt 7 mnths....so try one x...1.5ghz quad core over 1.5ghz dual core...!!!!

Im planning on buying a high-end smartphone.. im fixed towards L920.. is it really worth buying it guyz? and wat colour would be best? .. im a college student and i dnt use my phone as a gaming device.. help needed here suggestions pls.. ( thanks ) :-)

vinod, 01 Mar 2013This is the perfect explanation of OS..............Now we got itso u want android feature in windows os then why u need windows lots of android phone chinise to samsung. go for them. i think we should give more time to mature this os. ms and nokia didnt understand what dey do to make a business phone or a smart phone for young genaration. its demerits for a set no download option in browser. may be for their service like nokia music xbox music. u can go there download file.

So I assume it's the portico update.
