Hi GSM readers,
I spent a week reading reviews of Lumia 920 on various forums and websites. I shifted from a Galaxy Note 2 to a Lumia 920. I also own a Apple iphone5 which I use for an alternate number. After reading the positive comments I was sure that the negative is loaded by all the samsung and apple paid guys but it isnt so. LUMIA 920 sucks. And it indeed does so in style.
Few pointers as to why:
Camera interface is bad. Nokia 808 rocks when it comes to camera. And NOTE 2 cam is also better.
There is no way to explore contents on phone.
Battery is good as long as you are on WIFI - on EDGE the battery goes down very fast.
The images taken at night are over exposed ( a photo enthusiast would understand what I am saying) You need to under expose when you a spot of bright light when taking night pics. There is absolutely no sharpness seen in pics other than closeup shots.BTW macros is awesome - I all admit that bit.
I was bowled by some images shown on web taken using Lumia 920 - Now I seriously doubt that. Fyi I am also a photography amateur so I know what I am talking about the camera performance.
There is no portico update available for my handset yet.(I am in India)
The dialler sucks big time. There are no favourites.
The phone tends to slip from your hand when trying to use it while driving. So NO NO for those who use it for calling while driving.
The Lens downloads show some FTV advertisements when clicking pictures.
After all this I dont need to mention whats good in Lumia. I dont pay 37k INR for any of these bad features on the phone. I am done with NOKIA. Thank you.

Microsoft own Skype and every platform can use their service. WP have only with big problem for using Yahoo and Google video. All other great popular services are available for WP market place.

this lumia dont have sd card..and evry time you use this phone the cache eat your phone memory..they have a cache memory clean up that..the only way clean it is the factory reset..how u treasure some notes in your phone if your always reset yur phone to clean the cache..

I am a user of Lumia and truthfully the phone is amazing,de body is looks beautiful ,it is strong except at de edges cause its pointed.i would say Nokia did a beautiful job in de making,and as a matter of de only real problem us de OS,it juz growing .it needs a lot more apps & has to be a lot more user-friendly, else de mobile is great,its worth almost 90% of de money we pay for it

3) If you want to upload a photo taken from your phone to facebook or something, not posible from your phone.
Yes it is, straight from the camera.
4) you can't see data transfer speed any where.
Does it matter?
5) Not support to flash player. ie u can't see most of the web videos. even from fb.
All videos on fb and most on YouTube are html5 which you can watch. No javaphone can view flash.
6) Unable to view downloaded files
Nope, you can see them.
7) 99% Applications available in windows store are games. No productivity or utility applications available.
Most apps are productivity plus you get office.
8) No good video or audio players available.
VLC is on its way and the built in is very good.
9) Unable to use applications like messengers properly. when screen will lock all applications will become paused. thats why we will not get any chat messages if phone is lock.

Yes you can.

Try calling someone.
