don't put your standard on "general public"
nokia prepare a complete line up from entry level (620) to high end level (920)..
Lumia 920, Price cannot be afforded by the general public.
(Nokia better study the markets efficacy beforehand)
Lumia 620 might do 10 to 15 times better in the same markets,if released at the right time.

Lumia is truly one the better mobile device's
nokia is the best
Awesome
I've had the Lumia 920 for nearly 2 months and it's been awesome so far.
It's been years since I've used a windows product, and the WP8 OS is a worthy welcome back. OS is super smooth and best of all, stable. MS really got it right this time. There's still some kinks to be worked out, such as a proper notification centre (swipe to the left from homescreen is where it should be), and closing open apps from multitask view is a much needed addition too.
Offline maps speaks for itself and is lightyears ahead of the competition. Nokia music has been a surprise hit for me. Just awesome. All the latest music, a free download to listen to offline.
The camera however, is just good. I had an N8 before this and photos were nothing short of stunning. The Lumia 920's camera isn't an usurper. However, it really does excel in low light conditions and has delivered some fantastic dusk shots. OIS is great too. I recorded a video inside a plane taking off from JFK airport a few days ago, totally smooth and the colors captured were beautiful (anyone travelling knows that it's very very bumpy taking off and landing at the airport).
Overall, it's still a very underrated phone. GSMArena does great reviews (if not the best) but they downplayed some of the best qualities this phone offers.
I also have a Nexus 7 tablet running some of the best specs and latest software. It has nothing on the Lumia. Really. Too many similar, vague and useless apps to be of any real argument. Android 4.2 is bearable at best. It's the only and likely last droid product I ever buy into. Lag and OS stability kill the overall experience.
Only a matter of time before WP8 really takes off. The majority of people in the world don't really care about phones. But this is as easy to use as the original iPhone and works with the majority of the world's computers, so, yeah... Lumia 920 FTW!
