Hey parbinder! Im also using the note2 and interested to buy lumia 920 when it is available.. So we are almost on the same page. What color are you planning to buy btw? I personally like the white or cyan (if available). Any recommendations please? Thanks

AnonD-93671, 29 Dec 2012can this play mkv,avi,mp4 videos? also hpw about subtitles?? my N8 can play these files with ... moreall of them,not sure of mkv.i guess at present to play mkv it converts it into another format.search wp store for the codec support.if its not yet available,it will soon be there with vlc on wp.

jayvee, 29 Dec 2012samsung s3..nokia is good but i think samsung s3 is just a step or two betterin SG3, I got tired of killing apps after apps (they kept on running right after you kill them) wasting memory, so I just sold my SG3.
...going for lumia920 or iphone.

IM so glad i went for lumia 920. My better half got galaxy note2. It has lost apps. Suddenly to reappear and is hounded by stupid adds. . Long live lumia.

Its third month of release, first cut n prices seen. Hope it comes to 600$ by new year. There is more hype than delivery. Flat brick same mango win with perks here ad there. Nokia is doomed with no hotcakes sales as SGX or Note 2. They fear what happened to L900 millions still unsold n stores. Make small quantity which is sold. Next L990 may be better choice. Bought L800on installments 100$dwn hardly this year was 650$… They already sold their factory n Finland.

Anodroid OS is good but have tendency to kill more memory and thus use more battery power. Where as Windows 8 is a new OS and yet to be tested well. However, as per specs I will suggest to go for Nokia Lumia 920.
