there's no tablet,
n... moreWrong. My boss in 1995 or around that time, had a Nokia TV. 24 inch iirc, special size for cathode ray tube TVs at the time, since this was before 16:9 had a breakthrough.
I always bought Nokia tires for winter use on my cars, that was their original business you know, and they are still a gigant in rubber products. We were very surprised to see Nokia cellphones in the early 1990ies since for us Nokia was a tire manufacturer. I bought my first Nokia phone in 1993, cost me a fortune at the time, but at only 330 grams it had a breathtaking impressive standby time of more than 12 hours. It was so great at the time (this was before GSM, my Nokia 101 used NMT900 analogue system.
Nokia tires/rubber products had to change name to Nokian some years ago, to not interfere with the strong brand name Nokia had built though their success in cellphones.

They have been and always will be know for outstanding quality and reliable devices with either the best or one of the best cameras. Though they should really make Androids too they top on WP...though they are lacking in specific features that need to be taken into light

SL, 12 Nov 2012You can't even compare build quality of Lumia 920 to Note 2 or some thing. Is phone definetly ... more Nokia balancing itself on a single leg (only wdp8 mobile phone now).
there's no tablet,
no desktop/laptop,
no TV, no fridge etc.
How could they competed with others in the modern fast growing markets.
this is nice phone..good quality better ph..nice looking ph..many more apps are support in this ph..better than LUMIA 800 & 610...but think is that...this ph price are very rechble..but nice one..
Nokia should take note from Lumia FX800 concept phone. It had a n9+n8 titanium body. And they should make sleek, and quad cored phones.
Can somebody please clarify if the phone supports usb flash drives? if so, can it read all data?

Is phone definetly has better build quality than SGS3.. don't even want to talk about overall features this offer against other two flagship iPhone 5 and SGS3
Anonymous, 11 Nov 2012Note 2 has no competition, especially not from this fat Lumia with its micro display. Same wei... moreThe 920 is not meant to compete wirh the Note, and it has almost the same footprint as my Galaxy S3, only thicker. I held it in store yesterday and it feels quite premium, i'm thinking of buying one after the SIM-free prices drop a little, even considered trading my S3 for it
As much as I would really want to love this phone as I love Nokia, I don't think it will sell that well..again. Why? Apps and lack there of. Also the version of popular apps like Facebook on Windows 8 is not good.
I got the Lumia 920 first day itself. The size is bigger and more weight, but definitely it is not bad at all. The quality of the materials used and the way it is built is awesome. The screen is mesmerizing and compared with all my friend's phones (iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III). The width is same as S III and height is bit less than that.
Pros:
1. The screen and the curvy glass with awesome colors and resolution.
2. The screen size 4.5 inch i felt the right size instead of IPhone 5 (the readability is got affected because of the height but the same width like the previous models 4S and 4).
3. The features offered by Windows Phone 8 (no need for Zune software to transfer files). Simply copy & paste can be done by connecting with computer with USB cable.
4. The way how the People hub is designed.
5. Camera is taking more realistic photos not over saturated colours.
6. Most of the common apps are available.
Cons:
1. The skype and the Tango both are not available. So there is no video call app is available as of now.
2. The sealed battery.
Note: Skype and Paltalk video chat messengers are coming soon.
