Yes, it's expensive, 600€ at launch, but it's worth it, it's Nokia's flagship afterall, sth that never disappoints you, there may be similars from Huawei etc, but just think about clothes' market, a shirt may cost 10$ and another similar 100$, when you wear them, you get the difference.
best smart phone of the year

As I've said, im not forcing anyone to follow what im really talking about, we have our own choices and preferences so go for it! Im just expressing my opinion that's it.
jakir, 24 Oct 2012stop throwing your useless comments here we're not interested in your crap huawei china phone.... moreya huawei may not deliver the quality as nokia do.but its got a market (small 1) of its own.every1 cant go for a wp8 for 600 euros.
george, 25 Oct 2012both lumia 920 and iphone5 expensive. many people including me, cant afford more than 300 euro... moreDon't worry, Huawei w1 is only availabale in china... and let's give other people the chance to choose, don't corrupt them into buying something they don't like.
Why Nokia can't learn from others? for 600 euro can't include basic FM radio, Java, external SD card...? Samsung phone sell well because they take customer feedback seriously and build a more complete phone.
Nokia should endeavour to make this phone available in the Middle East countries as soon as it is released.
So it doesn't support 3G speeds on Wind/Mobi, but will it still actually work on that network?
I don't download/upload anything so speed is not an issue- EDGE is perfectly fine for my uses. If I need high speed, I've got Wifi.
george, 25 Oct 2012both lumia 920 and iphone5 expensive. many people including me, cant afford more than 300 euro... morewell then, I won't forced you to buy 920 as you said you want that Huawei then go. Who cares then? It is your right but what I know is the word "QUALITY" and I dont think Huawei have that word. Im not mad at china products its just that they were the first to build that trademark the so-called "no quality" over the decades, they just making money not "quality products". Truth hurts but yes it is.
george, 25 Oct 2012i dont have 600 euros to buy the lumia 920. but, i do have 230 euros to buy the huawei w1. as ... moreyou can try other lumia models like 610, 710, 800 though they aren't windows phone 8 but they can be upgraded to windows 7.8 (light version of WP8) and about Huawei?? I don't think so you will be happy in that phone because it is a china phone (we all knew that china phones are crap and no quality) so I still go with Nokia. Durable, high quality, and a trusted company for a decades now. There are so many choices in Nokia phones if you really running out that budget but switching to Huawei, Meizu, ZTE and other china brands? No way.. I'd rather go to Samsung, Sony, Motorola if I can't really decide on Nokia. I won't waste my hard earned money.

Seems enough rich to pay 700 euros for iPhone5!
Are everybody insane??!!
Everybody constantly whining, that 600 € is too much for 920? And still iPhone5 costs 700 €. Look at specs of both first, 920 has better camera, bigger screen, wireless charging and still cost 100 € less! Is it really that difficult to get it, that it's MORE than a fair price??!!
