So never tell wp can do all things of android but having a lesser cpu than android ! Whatever all smartphone oses does the same thing. Symbian ios android bbos all can play games record videos capture photos reads office surf websites. But live wallpaper isnt available on ios. It needs quite good cpu power. So ios fanboys cant tell their os is more battery friendly because their os doesnt hav live walpaper! Android is a heavy os. Android offers most features. Wp and android can not be compared bcoz android made to do things more like pc when wp is made for smartphone only. Lumia 920 is a good product n b happy wit it(the most inovative smartphn, well to say all inovations and credits goes to nokia, no credit for wp)

You guys need to be ... moreThe compressing has nothing to do with OS capabilities, its to save data usage by compressing the page. Wp is totally capable of uncompressed browsing. WPs browser is actually one of the better mobile browsing experiences out there according to several sources.
Its OK to like Android and I dont like people here bashing on Android without knowing enough about it, but dont fall as low and try to bash on WP if you dont really know what you are talking about

yousif, 04 Oct 2012i'm a fan of nokia since the first mobile ever i bought in 2003 but when using the android dev... morea separate DSLR would cost 4-5 hundred dollars at least and it is a separate device so have to carry it separately... then if i am getting 95% of the DSLR quality in the nokia device which perfectly fits into the pocket what's wrong in it? why the hell should i bother about how many GHz are packed in processor if my OS works well and smooth on the hardware that i have....

You guys need to be taught. Have more knowledge. Nokia trolled their cheap clas lumia "phones" introduced by a cheap clas xpres browser. It compreses pages!? Wtf ! Why no to pc style web browsing?! Lol coz its dumb. Android phones do the job when u r away from a computer. WP is too fake >.

[deleted post]Its mostly people getting defensive when android fanboys come trolling here due to 920 not having a quad core and 2gb of ram. Wp doesnt need them, but Android benefits more with them. Nothing wrong with either OS, people have different needs.

pliz converted lumia 820 to premium phone by simply improved the outdated screen resolution.
Also reduced lumia 920 price reasonably to compete with rival (cheaper) flagship ATIVS and HTC 8X markets.

AnonD-5661, 04 Oct 2012does anyone know why they removed FM transmitter from their lumia line ?I wish new Nokias had that too. Im really gonna miss the FM transmitter from my N8. I'd guess one reason is that it takes specific hardware that needs to also fit inside the cases. Lumia 920 is obviously VERY packed if it's weight is anything to go by.

Android needs it because its made on java( all said ). And i have to say that in the future for android to be as fast as wp and ios it will need more ram and more processing.

I personally ... moreI agree with you and yes this new Windows 8 Operating System is going to be better than competitors I am pretty sure because its made by Microsoft they redesigned this mobile windows for better performance and I think it will be even better than android in the future this phone have dual core cpu with decent gpu and cool operating system along with good display I mean Iphone5 is 326 ppi and this phone have 332 ppi which is great so this is what a smartphone need to be really smarter than other devices in market Cheers :)

Prefer the IPS displays- much better natural colours. And the Lumia 920 excites me. Also bored of the icon interface of android. Let's hope Nokia price this sanely and give timely updates. This phone has all trademarks of being a Hit.
