+919878711212, 27 Sep 2012it has internet radio so no need of other radioRadio tuner or not is very subjective to where you live and how much you are ready to spend for internet on your smartphone. For exemple in my country for 40 EUR a month you get unlimited data BUT with only a 20kB/s download debit, which isn't even enough to stream radio. More debit is even more expensive and if you pay already for ADSL at home it start to be a bit expensive just for the sake of staying connected.
So I'm happy if I can listen for free some programs that are financed by me through taxes I'm forced to pay whether I listen to them or not. Also radio via 3G consume more battery than a built-in FM tuner.
Right, 28 Sep 2012They make S40 phones the best! stick to it no windows 8compare it.and prove it-starting from specs to everything else.u get that??
Dont think will do well with Iphone5 sam3 to much comp, nokia best a basics not smart phones.
I dont understand, why NO radio on this model. This is one of the caracteristics I like the most. Please reconsider, I`m Nokia fan... Samsung offer FM stereo radio on their most advanced model.
nokia back in action before with n95 16gb great phone now windows 8 phones
Nokia has always been better in quality compared to apple...because when apple fones come out they always seem to be faulty..but when "NOKIA" hits the market its a blast!!!!
A free human being, 27 Sep 2012Looks very nice and interesting at the same time, but it has a few things that make me think b... morefor your info Adobe stopped to support flash for smartphones, Android Jelly bean doesn't have flash support, which means the only way will be unofficals builds, potentialy full of security holes.
That's a bit lame because this gives the iphone a big advantage since they didn't support flash from the beginning and you got apps to compensate it.
Also it seems microsoft have only released the WP8 sdk to a handful of devs with the most downloaded Apps, so don't expect too much from a WP8 at release. (Read this to see how WP8 devs feels like http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_phone/b/wpdev/archive/2012/09/12/windows-phone-8-sdk-preview-program-is-now-open.aspx )
If possible to port meego, then I'm definitely getting this.
Android=crap IOI=crap WP8=(if anything like wp7)crap Symbian=ok MEEGO=excellent
[deleted post]Where are you from? Official prices are ranging from 600€ to 800€ depending on location..
Oaleepk, 27 Sep 2012It's specification great then iphone5, galaxy s3... I like nokiayeah your right
The price rightfully speaks for this beastly device. Hardware and Capabilities are best in class. smoothness, superb design, best camera performance in low light and imag stabilization, lighting fast connection, ultra sensitive screen, best sunlight legibility and lets include its wireless charging. You name it and lumia 920 has it! Talk about these stuffs which is hardcore innovation. Dont talk about the radio for we are in 2012, honestly who still uses the radio here? I bet your still from the ice age, and who needs a radio if you can stream and download music for free(Nokia Music). And come on 185g is not that heavy.
AnonD-70145, 27 Sep 2012I've already preordered a white Lumia 920 in Russia!
the price is so good! meanwhile the iPho... moreDoing anything with same time on it'z minimize key like bluetooth up & down, 4 browser using, 4 music player running, chat, etc
so nokia best
Boycot Nokia wp8,so that they will adopt PLAN B.Weather they should have been continued Symbian support,or developed Meego OS.I just love nokia with android.Ever seen ICS running on nokia n9's cyan unibody? It looks damn beautiful, once google it........Please NOKIA,adopt Android OS,you will be king again.
Looks very nice and interesting at the same time, but it has a few things that make me think before buying it. Firstly, no slot card, no radio, no Java or Flash for the browser. These are small things, but can make the difference. I am curious if with Windows 8 the device can be recognized as USB or you need a software program to upload music, documents and pictures. Also I am curious if the bluetooth works with all devices or just between Windows Phone devices. Also it does not have TV Out support. I owned a Lumia 800, but I sold it and bought a Samsung Galaxy S2. Why? Because of these small things I mentioned above, that Lumia 800 didn't have and Galaxy S2 has. What I really like about the Lumia series is the photo quality and that they have a dedicated camera button. I am still in doubt about keeping my Galaxy S2, or selling it and with a difference of money buying a Lumia 920. I hope Windows 8 will have big improvements, otherwise...
