For better understanding let me tell u what was wp before nokias arrival to wp.i must admit wp7 was not much of a proper os.but then too lumia 900 topped at at&t and stayed there till wp8 was announced.the same reason android sells-people want to try out something different from ios.and not every1 in the world can afford an iphone-the same reason they tried wp7.now nokia leads the assault wid the wonderful wp8 and innovations.its going to make billions of cash.

But in LUMIA 920 is having wireless charging, HD MOTION+ PURE VEIW TECHNOLOGY, IMAGE STABELIZATION,NFC,TOUGHEST BODY AND SCREEN AND MANY MOREEEEE..._____. which androids are lacking

iphone 4 with ios and one core chip is identical faster at loading pages on internet as htc one x. tersted in parallel. android quadcore is like a big heavy truck full that loose the horesepower on its heavyness

Yes it's a Nokia and yes I have loved Nokia ever since I owned my first Nokia and yes this is an extremely powerful smartphone probably putting the over-hyped iPhone 5 to shame BUT one thing is missing, JAVA. Java is the most universal format out there for apps because no matter what OS a smartphone use, Java is there to the rescue to ensure you can use apps without fear of incompatibility.
Nokia Lumia 920 is probably the biggest next thing but it could have been even better if Java was on board.

ohh plss, 25 Sep 2012I don't understand why Nokia fans always stress into camera, are u buying a smartphone for pro... moreI was only replying to the person who I quoted who said Samsung would make a better camera by the time 920 comes out, which seems highly unlikely at this point.
As for a good camera on a smartphone, I'm not gonna downgrade from my N8-quality camera in a smartphone anymore, it's extremely useful. I dont use it for anything remotely similar to "professional photography", but when I can copy entire books and read them home on computer very easy and fast with high readable quality, I'm not gonna settle for worse anymore. I'll have to test the 920 camera though whether it can do the same, N8 has more megapixels but thats hardly what makes the photos good for my purpose.
Also, with a good quality smartphone camera (such as N8s), there is NEVER a reason for me to use a "standalone pocket camera" and for a DSLR level camera I have no use for anyways.
When taking pictures, I rather have em better than worse, wouldnt you say? :P With the popularity of social media too, I wouldnt try to talk down the value of a good quality camera always in your pocket.

AnonD-7829, 25 Sep 2012I dont think Europe has any chance of seeing the 920 under 500€, most likely closer to 600€its gonna be precisely 635€ in europe and around 600$ in usa sim free at the launch. 450€ and 430$ after 7 months.

nokia may make profits in money but it has lost its repo cos if they don't use andro they should also not use wp and rely only on their own os like apple or blackberry
