I got a great feeling this gonna be a big time for the legends in Hand phone "Nokia" and the legends in Operating system "Microsoft" working together. Been waiting for so long for this vary moment. Microsoft and Nokia had enough of the Android Samsung, apple ios thingy going around. It's time to switch my fellow friend. apps will grow. im pretty sure without window n apple andriod wont be as big as today.

Can you please let me know if WP8 phones support Bluetooth FTP??? this is very imp for me to consider buying this phone.
am curios why cant closed source OS have bluetooth FTP (while they have others)? is it due to licensing issues ??? can anyone shed more light on this?
OS -> Windows phone 7.x and 8.x, and IOS.
while most Open source OSes have this bluetooth FTP , why cant the above mentioned OSes have this? i tried hard to search without success. Please let me know...

Build quality, display(PureMotion HD+, ClearBlack Display), sound(Dolby Digital Plus), camera(PureView Technology) and all the way Nokia is best.
Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait is more than enough for this phone. Nokia dual core even single core SmartPhones run faster and smoother than your quad core elephants. After all, android is a free OS.

You know the problem with LG. Its "LG".
Many many people will not buy an excellent performing smartphone just because its LG. They may manufacture a great phone but This name is still not much respected in smartphone world... may be some day... but at the moment, my LG washing machine is excellent, with 10 years motor warranty..... duhhh

777, 13 Sep 2012Best Nokia phone ofcourse_but not mfgd to compete with SG3! Beaten by SG3 in every dept; the b... more1. 2mm of thickness aren't a big deal, what matters is the overall design and Lumia 920 definitely has a better design than SGS3.
2. WP8 is a complete OS so Android vs WP is now a matter of personal taste.
3. 32GB are more than enough for most people, but USB on the go solves the problem for those who want more memory.
4. Okay, SGS3 has a better front camera, but Lumia's one does the job too.
5. Tests show that Dual-core Krait outperforms Quad-core cortex.
6. Here you are misinformed. Mali GPU isn't better than Adreno.
7. A FM radio costs just 2€, is it too expensive if you spend 600€ in a smartphone.
8. Maybe it would have been better if it had Java, but it's not that important to have it.
9. Battery: Lumia 920 2000mAh vs SGS3 2100mAh, but SGS3 has a 0.3 inch larger display, a quad core processor and Android isn't really battery friendly.
As you can see, most of those that you called advantages of SGS3 over Lumia 920 don't exist...
Now, let's talk about the other features:
1. Camera: 8MP vs 8MP, but Carls Zeiss lenses are far better than Samsung lenses, OIS is a big advantage for Lumia 920 in both stills and video modes, Nokia's imaging algorithms have demonstraded to be the best you can find, so Nokia Lumia 920 has a clear advantage here.
2. Display: SGS3 has a slighlty larger display while having almost the same size, but that Pentile display can't match the colors and brightness of the PureMotion HD+ screen.
3. Build quality: Nokia always had the best build quality and polycarbonate unibody is definitely better than cheapl looking plastic.
4. Other extra features: Lumia 920 has wireless charging, SGS3 has some cool features like smart eye tracking and S-Voice.
Now, everybody can make his own judgement in which is the best of these two devices...

The display of the Nokia Lumia 920 is the best in market and your words won't change that fact...
