My Nokia N8 was lost a month ago and having always been a Nokia guy, I wanted another Nokia despite flirting with testing out the Moto G. I went with the Lumia 920 despite reading about battery issues. Initially no problems with the battery...after adding apps I noticed sporadic drainage and was tempted to return it. I downloaded BATTERY SENSE and at times the drainage rate was 20% per hour and then all of a sudden it'd be as low as 3% but the average usage per hour according to the app was around 8%. When it got high sometimes I'd turn it off and it'd drop but overall I was getting through the day easily. I updated to black and noticed a significant increase in battery life and I've seen only 1 spike (18%) in the last 4 days. The drainage typically hovers between 6-8% during usage.
On to the phone...this is the most beautifully crafted phone I've had...better than my N8. The app store has everything I need (sorry Android/Apple) the camera and accompanying Nokia camera apps are PHENOMENAL. The Lumia Black update has added so much to the phone. Live tiles are awesome and I have the option to turn them off. Customization? I can resize them or change the theme color. I currently have black tiles with white borders (done by turning on contrast) and it looks awesome with the matte black finish of my cell.
The people hub is CRAZY AWESOME. I could go on but I digress. If you're interested in this phone I'd say get it.

... moreThe differences are minimal, the 925 is thinner, it has an AMOLED screen, and the body is partly from metal. Also the camera has the extra lens, so it should be slightly better.
The Lumia 920 though has built in wireless charging, which is very handy. I used it a lot on my 920. Of course you can buy an additional charging cover for the 925 but built in is in my perspective easier.
I think the price will be around the same for both devices, maybe the 925 is somewhat more expensive.
In my opinion, I think the Lumia 920 is the better choice if you don't mind thinkness or weight that much. Besides it's probably a bit cheaper.

Many people say that Lumia 925 is more innovative with regard to its design and camera lenses. However, it seems to scratch easily.
Has Nokia stopped manufacturing Lumia 920?

iam using lumia 920 from 6 months with amber update, and realy it is a perfect smartphone. but nokia and microsoft should work hard on apps...

Manufacture... moreMy experience with Nokia is that I also buy a device made in Finland or Germany, but its not a rule. My friend has Nokia 808 and made in China and so far no problems about stability. Try it you have 2 years of warranty what can you lose ? Regards BS from Slovenia-Europe.

Waiting for WP 8.1 upgrade to come. Believe it or not, I haven't updated to any updates that Nokia/Microsoft released. I haven't even updated my Lumia 920 to Amber yet. Why do they keep releasing software updates that are really lame?! If WP8.1 upgrade is as lame as their updates, I'm never going to buy another Nokia devices with WP OS.

I am fully happy with it. Those complain might not have patience or dont know windows operation. Or they expect all smart phones to have all applications and facilities which is not in reality. And I am an average user and play games too.

However, now I have ... moreHi abhay u will get better battery life do this remove ur back cover and close the wireless charging circuit with insulation tape or other sticker anything...then check ur battery life it will increase like L720..it will work i checked it..why nokia produce inbuilt wireless charging circuit there new models..this is the fact the battery disharge automatically this wireless circuit...u can check it and reply me any help pls mail me my id is vinutrarattuvazhi@live..com
