No matter how many people or Samsung fans criticize or dislike Nokia. Nokia stands strong always. I am amazed to see lumia 920 at the first place in the daily interest rankings by 72,716. Whereas Samsung S3 at 64,983. Nokia fans know what Nokia is all about. :) Cheers!

    Well, this device is catching a lot of atention. Very interesting. The Lumia 900 caused a very good hype when it was launched and it offered 0 innovation at the time. Also the lumia 800 offered 0 innovation (at least compared against symbian and android) but they made Windows phone to grow.

    Now the phone brings actual innovation to the market with three brand new features in a phone:
    * Wireless charging.
    * The pureview camera with it's OIS and f 2.0...
    * The nokia imaging software that comes along with the phone (cinematograph and object eraser)

    And also it came with a new set of accesories and deals that makes the phone even more interesting.

    Of course it comes with windows 8 as well that is an innovation of its own, but available to all manufacturers.

    No windows phone cought my atention before. Simply symbian is way better than wp7.5, but this lumia 920 with wp8 is making me think about getting it against my previous decision to get the 808.

          Can Wp8 be tweaked like android ?
          If so it will be good as to windows can be customized as well. But I don't believe that, Nokia is not fluid like Samsung, in overall EVEN wp or its symbian.

                  zappaff, 12 Sep 2012No need to troll around and noo need to be a fanboy. First of all the SOC on this machine is ... moreWell put. I also agree that WP8 has learn much from Apple in terms of integration. It seems to me that Anroid has done much to generate competition but now is likely to loose great market share to WP8. We shall see. As for these Nokia mobiles, they are destined to be game changers, but note Samsung is also in there with similar devices. Samsung cant loose given they can and will build any device, WP8 or Android, or even OIs if they could.

                              tapandabhi93, 11 Sep 2012Ya very true..samsung is nothing but a copy cat..nokia is the pioneer in mobile phones and is ... moreGoodness! So you mean to say, without Samsung, Nokia has risen up to the specs of the Lumia 920?

                              Yes, they might have "emulated" the high specs and design of the iPhone (but the F700 came out first!), but Samsung and other Android smartphone manufacturers has raised the standards. And now Nokia is emulating the same high standards with this wonderful Lumia 920 from the previous lower specification model. Competition makes things better and benefits us users.

                                  First of all the SOC on this machine is sometimes faster than quad core SOCs. It is an Arm A-15 chipset and Adreno 225 is also twice faster clocked than its predecessor. (Check out HTC One S benchmarks)Also Unlike Android, Win Phone OS is made for touchscreen devices from the scratch and this SOC is running this machine butter-smooth. You can see it in hands on videos. As an Android user I appreciate Google's efforts on liberating mobile OS in a way but it is still laggy with even quite powerful configurations. They claimed that they have overcome this issue with JB but as i tested JB with 1GB of ram it fills the ram to the maximum and system stability issues occur. (some games freezes) But please keep in mind that without Android the smartphone market wouldn't be so mainstream and remember to appreciate it. I really do not want to talk about the built quality because Nokia's 10 year old devices still works. Besides all the most important thing about Win Phones is they will be fully integrated with windows8 and in the business market winphones will replace Android Blackberry and IOS gradually within the natural process because most of us are using Windows as our business' OS. Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 are the new gates of a new era in which your phone, tablet and desktop computer will share the same base and the will be fully integrated like Apple. From now on Aplle is not alone this full integration game but Microsoft has an uncomparably larger user base. A decade ago Microsoft saved Apple from bankruptcy by releasing their Office suite for MacOS but today the rules of the game gets harder. We may foresee a third downing period for Apple if Microsoft can compete in the pricing. By the way I also appreciate Apple by changing the design of the phoenes, usinf the capacitive screens for the first time and unix based OS. So these machines are manufactured for individual preferences and if you like one you are free to buy one. As for myself I will buy an i5 powered tablet and a Winphone 8 device and sync them easily and use them in my business.
