I have a feeling this won't go easy on my wallet, but (so far) this seems to be a worthy flagship, in par with the SIII and the iPhone4s. If this impressive gadget fails to bring Nokia back into the game I don't know what will.
qwinzi, 05 Sep 2012its a nice phone but it would be even more better if it,s running on android. android phones rockblah blah blah, android phones are just crappy resource hungry phones. thats why they need quad core processors. windows 8 is the snappiest os ever produced. so go ahead and do your crappy benchmarking. when its come to performance, nothing can beat the nokias.
Webwiz, 06 Sep 2012OMG! what a bunch of whiners. You can't compare this to An(crap)droid it a different OS. If MS... moreYeah, I agree to your idea. Nokia always brings its costomers new things like PureView Teg that other competitive phones cannot do it. very nice design of Lumia 900, Lumia 800, Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 and Nokia always offers very suitable price to its costomers compared with Iphone or Samsung
Nokia is the best phone forever, I trust these new models will put nokia on the map.
Nokia Fan!!! :)
I just had a look at Nokias share price.
DOWN 16% in the last day
DOWN 30% in the last week
DOWN 94% in the last 5 years.
It seems investors aren't to impressed with the 920 or Nokia in general.
Not a bad spec'd phone... biggest disappointments are
- weight and thickness make it a bit brick like
- No micro sd and only 32GB internal is pretty light on.
- battery is pretty small for such a big device.
Apart from that its a big improvement on the recent nokia attempts.
Fade., 05 Sep 2012Oh realy SIII has way better cpu and gpu? Then why do the Android phones with the S4 and andre... morethe first generation of wquad core proccessors weren't that powerfull compared to the dual core krait to be honest
Nokia is the best smartphone forever. I would really love its design and expecially the PureView tegnology.
Fantastic Lumia 920 and Lumia 820
why comparing android with windows? if windows phone still no famous maybe becouse hard find applications n stiff UI, n why some people comparing s3 with this? s3 not best phone ever? the design still win lumnia 820 for me, (even i dont like the unremoveable battry) n i prever another brands with fixed android os then the other os :P
(coz liberty for make your phone its reflactions all your style n costume able as u like > its done by Android OS) :)
alexTan, 06 Sep 2012No radio, seriously? You can always download several radio apps from the store. They're free and offer thousands of radio stations. My phone has both FM and Internet radio apps and I use the Internet radio a lot more than the FM, so...
qwinzi, 05 Sep 2012its a nice phone but it would be even more better if it,s running on android. android phones rockGuess you have never used a Windows phone if if you did you would realize how bad lagdroid is.
Windows is smooth as silk and barely suffers any lag, and before you reply i work in a senior role in a telco company and my staff are always dealing with angry customers over their malfunctioning Android device at a rate of about 4 a week to the 2 Windows issues i have had...in over 6 months!
Go Android... i think not.
great smartphone ever, with pureMotion+ great viewing brighter screen, sensitive touch screen, and a great pureview camera.
