I have android ICs now. i cant wait to switch to wp8. this android os eat so much of my time. ive been searching all forums on how to make it smooth. im experiencing problem in sms and answering call.it just stuck. they said i have to root my phone, reading the instruction, na, i didnt buy a phone to learn that thing, i just want a phone with great build and great camera with smooth OS, i dont need thos 800K apps. I have a friend, we always have fun. and when my phone lags, its annoying as hell
The samsung's S4 doesn't litterally has 8 Cores ... Its a phone with TWO "QUAD CORE" 1st quad core processor is for light tasks/games while the 2nd Quad core processor is for heavier tasks/games. Technically speaking when the 2nd Quad core is activated to process applications/tasks much faster the 1st Quad core is disabled by general you're only getting a Quad core processor working. In conclusion Exynos Octa is not really an eight core processor but a "CHIP" with a "TWO QUAD CORE PROCESSORS" that working alternately depends on the work load. The two quad core processors name are Cortex A7 an energy-efficient processor and Cortex A15 a high-performance processor. Happy now with Nokia.Android somehow took much my time about useless apps, sharing with my friend, it was to much for me.Now like run and listen music, make photography with Nokia, dont care about apps.
Recomend go for WP, long- term,Android is waisting time.
There are many recent WP8 games which are compatible with 1gb ram devices only (920, 820, 928, 925). This is a proof that Ram capacity DOES MATTER! And what needs ten seconds to perform on 1gb ram, would take five seconds to perform on 2gb. Overall experience is better. And not only ram, but cpu, gpu and screen res are conditional factors for developers. So Nokia, make the specs in figures on par with Android flagships please, despite of how smooth and optimized the WPos is.

Acctual windows phone is more inuitive and helpful interface. You dont make navigating easier by hiding what you have. IN windows phone 8 you have 2 screen only two not 3 not 4 and no hidden menus like ios and android that is why nwindows phone is superior. Yes there are still some functionality in the os that isnt there. But ifad i remember correctly android was out 4 years before it had the features that windows phone has it is already ahead of the curve. Android is 6 years old windows phone is only 2.5 years old it is more advance for the amount of time it has been out. If Microsoft still pushes to make it better it will outperform ios and android very shortly.
anonymous, 23 May 2013why nokia did not use android os on their smartphones? please answer meElop example Android and Windows 7.5 and found that Windows was a much better mobile phone platform. That why Nokia went with Windows and not Android. Even developers of Android think that Windows is far ahead as a OS then Android. Only the consumer current does not know this and iOS is even more primitive then Android.

Nokia making great camera. see, Nokia is more on people less apps, they want you to feel great when you are capturing photos of your friends and love ones, isnt its amazing? rather than focusing on apps like launcher lol
anonymous, 23 May 2013why nokia did not use android os on their smartphones? please answer mebecause android lags. you need quad core cpu in order to run it smoothly. and the updates are poor. only the high end recieve updates. and oh, some mid range receives update too. but it will just make their phone slow as turtle. i have android phone.I experienced it. Im switching to wp8 soon. I have apps in my phone. but i realize most of the time i dont use it. i just installed for the sake that hey i have apps lol.

I like photography, this phone has the best camera (exept 808, but I have SLR) and probybly go for 925 or 920.
dont know why nokia is focusing on windows phone.even nokia is aware that they have lost the battle with andriod OS,then even nokia isnt changing thier plateform.am using lumia 900 and comparing to s2 its far away in the battle of modern necessities like face book,bt connectivity is utmost worst, app.market has no better app like android offers..so nokia is gone if nokia willnt change its os asap..
please don't post for the sake of commenting, if you don't like, don't buy and go and buy your favourite brand
why nokia did not use android os on their smartphones?
please answer me
i just dnt understand why lumia 925 is released...Is Nokia Now concentrating on its Camera or Phone? I admit Nokia's hardware is Awesome...perfect,compaq & elegant...if there no softwares to use those hardware...then its better to Stop production
Can anyone please confirm, does the 925 support direct sync with Outlook via USB? If so then we may seriously consider purchasing the Nokia 925 when available. In the past we have submitted a justifiable business case to Microsoft as to the reason why this feature is needed - but Microsoft are not listening. I know so many business people who would switch to MS Phone 8 if Microsoft reinstated this feature rather than forcing people onto Skydrive. And yes we are aware of other offerings from Microsoft - but they are not always cost effective.
