I had purchased this phone in Nov 2014 & used this phone till 2018 i.e till Windows dies in mobile. Since then till i am using Motorola Moto X4. But today too i miss my Nokia Lumia 930 very much.
1st of all it had 5" Amoled display which was bright enough & also capable to handle with 1 hand. The hardware was very good irrespective of its plastic back cover. I dropped the phone many times even on screen too, but never even a single crack on the screen. During my usage period, i never had to take repair my phone at all. I did not face any mike issue as everyone says.
Later on i had updated my phone to Windows 10. And after updating i started loving my phone than before as the update gave more features which were ahead of time (which android has rolled out with android 9.0 & above versions).
The major things that i loved is Live Calender & Live Photo. Still today these features are not given by Android.
I still love & miss Nokia Lumia 930. See Nokia has got Pure View feature in their flagship phone Nokia 9. Now I request Nokia to bring these 2 features also back in there flagship phones.

This phone had incredible hardware and was ahead of its time, except the fact that it had one of the worst OSs ever put in a phone and the battery life was atrocious. Despite its middling drawbacks, I did enjoy using it as my first ever smartphone.

You have to do that when setting up a Yahoo mail account on mobile devices now, unless you use their own app.
The Microsoft Store seems to have been shut down for LUMIA phones. I am wrong ?
I am unable to sync my Yahoo mail account on Windows 10 mobile or WP8.1, anybody else with the same problem?

An Indian, 23 Jun 2020Does telegram work as of now after end of support for Facebook and WhatsApp?Yes. Telegram works on all Lumia phone till now
One of the best smartphones I have ever had. The camera is still top notch even now. Sadly Microsoft removed the radio app with the update to Windows 10 mobile. I haven't found a proper working FM radio app anymore. I still use mine for door to door navigation with Here maps for example. The phone is still fast.
Does telegram work as of now after end of support for Facebook and WhatsApp?
A good phone to those afraid of privacy invasion. A little more advance than a feature phone.
The best phone I have ever come across "Nokia Lumia 930" and I started using them when Motorola came out with its Ultra Sleek. It has an excellent battery life, talk time, and all the best hardware. I did switch over to Lumia 950 which had a better hardware than this one but in performance, 950 didn't even come close, as it was getting stuck at some points, so switched back to good ol' Nokia 930. I only had to give it up because WhatsApp and Facebook apps shut down - thanks to Microsoft!
Riomer, Finland, 18 Oct 2019Hello everyone, I am thinging same like you, I really dont know what will be my next phone aft... moreI think the Nokia 8.1 is a good choice but I would also consider the Nokia 7.2. I have neither of those phones but I do have a Nokia 5.1 Plus, and for a budget phone it is simply outstanding and performing amazingly well, both in smoothness as in battery endurance and I think it will be the same case with the Nokia 8.1 and 7.2. I am writing this on my Lumia 930 by the way.
