I have this phone in use for two years now and it's GREAT. I rarely use a phone for two years or longer because I like to change phones every now and then but this device is simply brilliant.
Updated to W10 mobile and it works like a charm so yes I can easily use this phone for yet another year, or two.

after I use Windows 10, I will never come back to android, but I wish to enhance the windows store in much more app, the lumia is amazing

For me this is the best phone I ever got, I still use it 2 years later and don't worry that I need to upgrade yet.
The OS preference is subjective; I never really liked android, it feels unstable and insecure. But this is just my personal point of view.

I have had my 930 since new and "Never" had a problem with it.
The battery life is excellent and, since upgrading to Windows 10 it has been superb.
The only problem Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have decided not to support Continuum on the 930. Oh Well, they will have their way.

Also yesterday I updated to latest fast ring build and now battery drains faster than with official win10 update (through update advisor) :(

I'm using this phone almost 2 years and that problem with battery draining while using apps,browsing,watching videos or playing games always existed. Maybe you should get a power bank for now and wait for a new windows phone. Lumia 950 isn't a big improvement over 930.

Im on Windows 10 latest build (fast ring), still no improvement on battery life, i get 1.5% per hour standby with wifi on which is stunning, but with use, i mean web browsing, FB etc (No games) it drains like hell. Intermittant browsing and fb usage i run out of juice by 12-2pm. Any improvement? Thought of upgrading to a Lumia 950, is it worth considering battery life??

I brought the Lumia 930 online however the speaker is not working properly, I can hear the other at the other end, however the caller is unable to hear me.. Is there any way to resolve this? I need the speaker to work both ways..

Jahid , 31 May 2016By this way sir i will not be able to get notification timely Actually, you can allow certain apps to run in the background and therefore receive push notifications etc. even when battery saver is on(at least this option is present on win10) :)

dave, 03 Jun 2016After i upgrade to windows 10 my lumia 930 screen blinking. Is there any help how to fix this?Hard reset Sir. When going to an entirely new OS this is essential. The lumia 930 on 10586.338 runs without a glitch. Solid!! Battery life is also decent. It's the Redmond build that has the battery drain bugs on the L930.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2016So for Lumia 930 & Microsoft 950 which is better? ....Microsoft 950 has a front camera, 30... moreit depends on you sha. for some people the lumia 930 is more than enough to run their daily task and more plus it has a great camera. the advantage i see of the 950(xl) is that they are newer have more future proof . better image output biometric scanner and expandable battery and micro sd card . which if you have a great deal on the 950. ill tell you to buy it and never look back. as a 930 owner the fact i cant change the battery and expand memory is haunting me . honestly want too upgrade to a 950xl soon as the price drops...
