Could you please make a review how WP 8.1 / LUMIA 930 performs at e-mailing, more precisely the attachment function within the mail app itself has access only to pictures folder. As an example I would like to see how you reply to an e-mail and add PDF or word document to your reply. Or forward an e-mail and add attachment to it.
I was an android user before and need to clear this before I jump onto Windows OS
The Nokia 930 is a quality item. However, I wanted to download View Ranger maps, but this is not possible via Windows, but only on Nokia's Symbian phones. The Google maps are Ok but notwhere near the quality of View Ranger.
I have been using windows phone since 2 years nd i could say im pretty impressed with this OS..
I wont say it wont lag or freeze, but when compared to android its far better...the other best thing i found is its battery capacity...most of my friends hav android phones..but when we are on a long journey together, that guys would be worried with their phone battery since android is battery consuming...
I recommend you this phone...you wont be regretted.im pretty sure with it..
Hi,how can I use maps, have I download it,o navigation ready to drive ,go?Examply,if I live in Scandinavia,Stockholm,is it posible to get all Europien maps when smart Nokia Lumia 930 is running first time,o have I search and download them?I my opinion, there is only one land map on Nokia Lumia's,land where you are?.Have a nice year!
DJV, 02 Jan 2015Hi, I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were ... moreU don't have to download official gmail app, there's already default app for mail where u can register your gmail id and can attach any file that you like to attach and send. To your surprise this app is very smooth nd better than it works on android.
Fallen138, 02 Jan 2015I forgot to say that one reason not to choose Android is Google' s aggressive policy(eg. Googl... moreThanks for the feedback.
I dont want to miss out on the high end features of the device hence I am option for NOKIA LUMIA 930. I did consider of buying a budget smart phone with Windows OS but that doesn't entice me.
DJV, 02 Jan 2015Hi,
I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were ... morePersonally I would recommend Lumia 930 if you're a regular/light user of apps. If you are looking for a fresh, stable, lag free experience go with the Lumia. If you are looking for local apps like your local bank or I don't know what you might not find it in the store.
If you are looking to use the Spen A LOT then go with the android. But using it as a regular phone I wouldn't go with it. For me Windows phone is always over Android. At least Microsoft doesn't post your photos over google+ as a default setting.
😊 personal preference at the end of the day.
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2015i cant download games thers always an error..can anybody help me plssCheck your settings make sure the time and date are correct and synced. Sometimes this effects the security of the account not allowing to perform certain actions.
M.M.S.A, 01 Jan 2015Lumia1520 or Lumia930?If you don't mind the size of the 1520 that would be my personal choice, but the carry almost the exact specs with different screen sizes, don't forget the battery on the 1520 is epic. But I care about the size of the phone and I'm getting the 930 😊
DJV, 02 Jan 2015Hi,
I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were ... moreI just ordered mine and getting soon hopefully, I have used android since it first came out on HTC or "the google phone G1" and using it till this day as my secondary phone. I have started using WP on the HTC HD7 which is a WP7 and still have it to this day working perfectly and lag free. If you are willing to change I recommend it, I have moved away from google for security reasons and the feeling that I'm extremely exposed, with Microsoft I feel I have privacy at least. The phones are lag free I wont say it's perfect since no OS is. But it has the stability and the flexibility. If you are a heavy app user and looking for local apps you might not find everything you're looking for, but the OS is on a constant change for the best and for me it's been always exciting and fun to use. And always go for a high end phone the experience is always good. Android devices will always lag after a while.
Fallen138, 02 Jan 2015I forgot to say that one reason not to choose Android is Google' s aggressive policy(eg. Googl... moreI don't use google/google services at all, because of that simple reason you mentioned. Besides of that, I don't use google because of their ignorant and utterly childish behaviour, to not even release apps for WP. So the company is a no-go for me, glad to be not part of the google mass.

DJV, 02 Jan 2015Hi, I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were ... moreI would suggest you to use a windows phone device before buy Lumia 930, because you will love or hate the OS. Personally I switched to Windows Phone from Android before 4 years when wp7 had many lacks and the store was poor but I loved the OS, it was more smooth and stable and organized than Android. I also loved the tiles concept. Nowadays Windows phone 8.1 have many features and Lumia 930 one of the best devices with wp8.1 .
Why does the phone become hot when browsing or playing game with it. I even thought that the secondary camera is 15mp without knowing that it's even lesser
I thought that the secondary camera is 15mp not knowing that it's less. And the phone becomes hot sometimes when browsing or playing games with it, why?.
I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were galaxy y - 6 months, galaxy ace 7 months, galaxy s2 - till date.
I am looking for a change now and the confusion is between the 2 devices 1) SAMSUNG NOTE 3 2) LUMIA 930.
I am kind of bored using the same OS for years now and looking for a change, but my peers keep on telling me that I would not be able to move from Android to Windows OS as it is a frustrating experience. For eg, the GMAIL APP in Windows is useless and it cant attach documents/photos etc.
I really want to switch for those samsung devices and try something new but I expect atleast the basics from Windows OS. Please help me out on these confusions guys. Happy new year to you all.
