I got it and i have been playing around a lot with it since i am a developer and wanted a flagship test device also. I can say that the heat problem that others mentioned is non existant to me and the phone is way more powerful and feels even powerful than any other android i got my hand onto. Comparing to GalaxyS5 it feels better and it is surprisingly handling really good the battery. I had never had such an experience from a flagship phone.
Aadrian, 09 Sep 2014Really great phone... Did u face any heatin or "burnin" issues on the 930 as zak mentioned below ?..
Anonymous, 08 Sep 2014Answer is no. Unless there is an app developer out there who'd create such an app to customize... morePrecisely! I use a Lumia 925. I love it, but the app market is still too thin & you cant search in SMS, and a few other such small but basic short comings.
I got this phone as soon as it came out. After having it for 2 months now I can finally write a review.
1. Really good Battery life.
2. Screen is amazingly sharp.
3. You can really feel the speed of processor when playing HD Videos and games.
4. Most mainstream apps available.
5. Good size memory. Plus one drive also offers 7gb for free.
1. Bit heavy and fat compared to other flagships.
2. Gets really hot when playing games or using sat nav. (almost burned me a couple times)
3. App store still has a very immature feel.
4. No cortana (uk)Even when I activated US version it hardly understood me.
5. Fron facing camera not good enough. specially for Skype indoors.
6. Really old versions of twitter, instagram. no snap chat.

Really struggling with my 930 as a business phone. I bought for the office and windows compatibility. Not excited so far. Very slow compared to my previous phone.

air, 08 Sep 2014for someone who owns this phone. is there any settings which i can use the volume key as a ca... moreAnswer is no. Unless there is an app developer out there who'd create such an app to customize your phone in this manner, but there is none. I bought this phone when it first came out, and I ended up switching back to Android because of the lack of apps... Overall, this is a very beautiful phone with really nice features, but the app world is still too young for my needs.
for someone who owns this phone.
is there any settings which i can use the volume key as a camera key even if it has its own camera key already. just like samsung w/c has no camera button.
please answer just "yes or no".
tnx a lot
ihsan, 06 Sep 2014rubbish: no card slot,,,, there is nothing new in the phone. there is 32gigabite of free space and 7 gigs on cloud..what the hell to you need sd card for?stop downloading so much hd porn
Guyz. I was so excited when i bought this phone after leaving my iPhone 5s. It has everything which we have in our computer having Microsoft operating system but it lacks what we want in our phone. Excellent built quality, hardware, windows 8.1 and windows software, but, Sorry to say it has good software relates to Microsoft but except them, WAY FAR BEHIND FROM iPhone and Android in terms of ease of Access and User Friendly. Bad decision to replace this shit with Class Device.
AnonD-303090, 06 Sep 2014I can't believe some people are using this phone. I've used apple, Android, and Symbian... I ... moreI can't believe your rant.....your just up set your company has given you something you don't like. You just sound like a troll, as we all know the 930 is a cracking device. :)
Yatin, 06 Sep 2014Did anyone tried using Lumia 930 in India ? I wonder why they delisted it from India. Does it... moreIt won't be a problem to use this phone in India, anyone's guess why it's not available there. But Iam sure when you buy an unlocked Lumia 930 it will be no problem to use it in India.
