Ajay, 21 Aug 2014Can Any 1 suggest which one is better Lumia 1520 or Lumia 930 ? As i am confused.!1520 has mainly just with 1 inch bigger screen (same resolution), has place for MicroSD and has Gorilla Glass 2 when 930 has Gorilla Glass 3. 930 has also strong metal body.

As i am confused.!no need to get confused by reading specs,
1- 6" vs 5" just make it clear which size do you prefer.
can you handle a 6" phone?(needs bigger palms)
2- amoled vs ips (imo the ips colors looks better)
so watch the displays see which one suits you well.
3- no sd card (930) is a deal breaker for me,what about you?
make 3 decisions & other specs are almost the same,
How Can i get this Phone in INDIA, as no update it will launch in India or not. I want this phone and has been waiting from long time for upgrade i have a Lumia 800.
Ajay, 21 Aug 2014Can Any 1 suggest which one is better Lumia 1520 or Lumia 930 ? As i am confused.!Pretty much same specs other than the 1520 having a bigger screen and the 930 having Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and the 1520 CGG2. So if you are after a bigger screen go for the 1520 otherwise 930!
Ajay, 21 Aug 2014Can Any 1 suggest which one is better Lumia 1520 or Lumia 930 ? As i am confused.!Lumia 1520 is best selection
Bought it today morning. It's great. I thought of 1520. But the big size was not really comfortable when I hold it.
veegee, 21 Aug 2014I too a Nokia fan and have been monitoring each of the new launch. I am used NL 920 since Dec-... moreAgree. Thing is most phones get hot when running processor intensive tasks these days. Let's face it not so long back PCs had less than quad core 2.2GHz processors in them! Just thinking about that fact alone is staggering. And the internals of phones have no fans! Only time I have noticed heat is when I'm running sat nav for a fair length of time which I expect will push the phone a bit. It's not a massive issue. Windows Phone is a great OS makes my mobile device a tool rather than a toy! :)

I am used NL 920 since Dec-12. Just bought 930 yesterday. Its a great one, less weigt and brighter. Those critis of Windows phones don't have any experience using windows phone or rather down know to use it. Once used to it you will love it. Getting warm - yes when playing games and that has nothing to do to the phone. Afterall a mobile is not to play games continuously for hours unlike game consoles made for that purpose.

iels2003, 16 Aug 2014Please can someone to tell , how to activate Cortana. I am from Belgium and I tried to change ... moreits fairly easy. I am in uk and I did it in about 5 mins last night. first of all you need to go into your settings and change speech to English US.. it is a 66mb download so make sure you are connected to wifi. then restart. then change region and time to US. restart. change language to English US. restart. then cortana appears under C in your settings. Tadaah :D
Picked one of these phones up a week or so ago. I'm a huge Nokia fan so maybe a little bit biased! Had a Nokia Lumia 820 before this and this too was a great phone.
Build quality and design is sublime - the screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is curved and in practice feels great very smooth and generally adds to making a great experience. The phone is finished with a aluminium band around its sides and a polycarbonate back (mine is bright orange!) this will make it more durable against scratches and any that do won't show as badly as a metal back. It also looks easy to replace the back of the phone should it get damaged. Also love the bright colours... but you can also choose from a more traditional black or white back!
One other thing to note about the phone is that it has (Like most other Nokia Lumias) a dedicated 2-stage camera button like a traditional camera (click half way to focus full to take picture). A small detail but if you take a lot of pictures and are a bit of a camera addict a much appreciated one.
The phone runs on Windows Phone 8.1 - which I really like. The live tiles are fantastic and give immediate updates to you require without touching or launching an app. In WP8.1 you get three columns of tiles and three different sizes giving you plenty of customisation options for your start screen. Also added in WP8.1 is the notifications screen which you drag down from the top of the screen much like Android/iOS. Nice addition although never really missed it from when I had an iPhone/Android phone but should make it easier for those that transition from either of these to the Windows Phone ecosystem!
Battery life is as good as any smartphone giving around a day per charge with average use. Call quality etc is great as expected!
Camera and optics are fantastic with Ziess optics (one of the main things that has always impressed me with Nokias phones).
Great phone - probably amongst if not *the* best device to experience Windows Phone 8.1 on at the moment.
