I have had this phone for a couple of months and love it. The battery will drain quickly though when playing games or if the screen brightness is on high. The OS works great and is easy to get around. I have not had a problem with storage and I have a ton of stuff on my phone. The screen is my favorite part, it reaches to the edges and has a slight curve to it.

My advice to Microsoft now that thay have taken over Nokia is that: you guys should always include a micro sd card slot in your phones. Just imagine, how can a phone like Lumia icon, Lumia 1520, Lumia 930 etc, that has 20MP + carl zeiss + OIS etc, has only 32gig of internal memory & without a memory card slot. With the above camera specification, Nokia is clearly telling it's customers to capture good moments of their lifes. But without the Sd card slot which is supporse to be nothing less than 64 to 128 GB. How many moments will one capture? Please consider hTc one (M8) windows phone specification. Also, consider the MP in the front facing camera.

Got laugh at the hate though. I have the Icon and it looks great during live tiles and surfing the web. One inch of screen size doesn't incapacitate this phone and the brightness levels on AMOLED vs the LCD at this small size are barely (if at all) noticeable. At least to my eyes and the Verizon store employees. Also the AMOLED actually looks better in full sunlight. The 1520 and ICON (basically the 930 on other carriers) Are almost identical phones except size. You shouldn't have to hate one or the other to justify which one you have.

I saw this phone at Verizon store side to side
to another 5inch windows phone Samsung ative something...
1) just like I expected, Amoled screens are not
as bright and naturally brilliant like LCD on Nokia
2) Lumia icon had even darker screen than Samsung ative
3) additionally Lumia icon screen looked like it has more spacing between cover glass and LCD than Samsung ative or Lumia 1520 (so the screen didn't look very flat)
4) FINAL POINT: 5 INCHES SCREEN IS TOO SMALL TO ENJOY THE WEB and windows tile menus only look gorgeous
on 6.0inches screen of Lumia 1520

secondary camera as the name suggest is a secondary camera, basically used for video call, low setting so that not to cost too much i guess. :D
YJ, 06 Aug 2014may i know, why Nokia seems like not going to upgrade the secondary camera??? you can't upgrade secondary front camera on a phone that's already manufactured, Microsoft/Nokia releasing a selfie featured phone that is focused on the front camera later this year.

TheTechGuru541, 02 Jun 2014Honestly, one you don't need a dual sim in all devices because it actually puts more strain in... moreMaybe "you" don't need an SD Card. Service is not available everywhere one travels around the country. That means the Cloud is not available everywhere. Some of us store files on our phones that we refer to in remote areas. Much of my work is in remote areas and I refer to engineering files routinely. An SD card allows one to carry all of this data and use it without having to carry a tablet or laptop. Lack of an SD card and a file manager makes a smart phone a toy and not a tool. Not too "smart" after all.
Screen is crap, very bad experience my phone and my friends easy got scratch and even mine was worse, the corner broke (It fell down from my hand not while I was standing up )
