If you want to reset the handset N70 you can use this code *#7370# then it will reset all your functions the phone but you need to make sure you do a full back of your contacts.
Ive bought this N70's 5 days ago and its cool

because I'm using both 512mb and 1gb, their performance are exactly the same. The 1gb is not any slower than the 512mb. What brand are you using?
dear ""all nokia program""
i tried 2 upgrade my firmware 3 times. but its 4 europe i think. not for south asia. any idea? can u help plz?
Nokia N70 is a lovely mobile phone. My friend has one. Yes its a bit Bulky, but has all the possible facilities and also a very decent mobile phone. I love it.
Try to reset your N70 to factory settings. Go to Tools and then settings and select phones.Scan down and find "original phone setting". Hope this will help you.
I cannot connect via cable on my N70 to my PC. The message appears "no phones connected" everytime i try. What do you think is the problem, my phone or the PC?
guy's out there don't take me negetively but i don't think you should use 1gig mmc.if you wan't to use more memory then please try the 512mb,2gig or 4gig mmc card's.they will work faster then 1gig mmc.i don't why but N70 don't support 1gig mmc that much.it get's leg.but with 512mb,2gig & 4gig it wil not get any.
i am using my N70 for almost a month right now it work's great.but i should admit that it a little tiny bit slow but again nothing is compareble to the function's and feature's it has.the camera is awsome i would say the best in 2mp catagory with or without an autofocus.the battery life is greate , the mp3 and the realplayer is prity good , the design is out of this world and most of all it is indeed the most hard core set produced ever by NOKIA along with 3310,1100,2600,6600,6630.but the most fabulios feature of all that it is a smart phone.
in my opinion take a good care of this phone and then it will prove itself worthy of any money that you will spend over it.
I don't like to use cables. Bluetooth is much better, and card reader for big files. Does your phone returns to menu when it's disconnected from cable?
Although I can't speak for all N70 owners I would thoroughly recommend this phone.
I have had it for over 8 months now and it's been the best phone I've ever had. In response to some of the concerns, I have found the battery quite good (it generally lasts between 2-4 days with regular use) and haven't had any problems with the firmware (I am using V 2.0539.1.2, 19/10/05). The phone has frozen/crashed on me maybe 2 or 3 times in the 8 months I've had it. This is far better than the SE K750i I had previously, which locked up all the time.
Yes, the OS is slow but that's the price you pay for having Symbian. I've got used to it now and it really doesn't bother me. I can't see myself going back to a non-Symbian phone. I love having the freedom to install new applications and expand the phone's functions (adding more games, auto keylock, wallet function etc). The active standby feature is also great.
The phone has also proven durable having been dropped numerous times. Compare this to my K750i, where the joystick broke twice in 4 months of use and the camera cover dented easily. The camera on the K750i was better but I hardly got to use it because my phone kept being sent off for repairs! (I also like the Nokia calendar heaps better than the SE one).
While I am now upgrading (to a N80) it is somewhat reluctantly because the N70 has been a really great phone (and if it had WLAN, I'd be keeping it!) Hopefully I have helped allay some of the fears about the phone. Unfortunately the majority of the people who post comments about phones are those who have had bad experiences and are upset (and rightly so), whereas the ones who have had good experiences like I have might lack the motivation to recommend the product.
If you have any more specific questions about the phone send me an email and I'll try my best to help!
