yeh its a cool killer phone and i am using this phone since 2weeks but its speaker is not so loud like sony ericson w850 because i am music adittor so i like music phones
Wellit lags while opening the menu only the first time you open it, because the menu program has to load, after the first time menu opens fast. Yes i also experienced the auto-restarting, i don't know why it happens, maybe it needs it's software updated ? For the camera, take pictures in good lighting conditions, and pics will come out fine... By the way does your back lens cover make a cracky noise when you use the phone ?
hi this is nitish and i am using nokia n72 for past 3 weeks . its show is killer stylish and descent than any other phone its voice is also clear and good but it is a slow phone than others you can cook ur food take shower while u hav clik the open menu button. it has a problem of restaring and restarts automatically but it depends on phone mood overall i liked the look of this model its camera is average not so good its headset's sound is good clear and cherrishable but low as compared to other phones i liked feature of this phone that it has the ability to blow big speakers with a helf of a cable given with the handset overall its an average phone but it is purchased by several people because its the cheapest phone or model of nokia n series u can buy it it will give u a handsome look
To no named one:
Don't be dumb, you can't make an update like that, it's impossible. I don't know where you got that idea.
You can't completely turn it off, but it mutes in Silent Mode.
Hi All..Am frm UK.. Can someone plz tell me how to upgrade Symbian OS 8.1, Series 60 UI 2.8 to symbian 9.13 3rd? And If I upgrade will I lose the warranty for the phone? many thx
Well first when you connect you should use Nokia PC Suite, click get connected, through USB, then connect your phone. If that's what you do, there's probably a software bug. Or a Windows bug, also possible. First try to connect it to other computer, if still the same, then you probably should rewrite your software, i don't see another way... OR it just misses drivers, but they should install automatically, unless you use Windows 98
I was wondering if anybody could help me with this problem with my N72, when i try and connect it to my PC via USB cable it prompts me with this message :Port_#0001.Hub_#0001 connected in non compatible mode" and it says i can change it in the phone's UI but i dont know where to look. Thanks.
To return the original font of your phone
you should install (FONT REMOVER).
It can be found on www.google.com
Message to all n72 owners:
Do NOT buy bigger than 1gb card to this phone, because you might have problems. n72 supports up to 1gb. 2gb will not work...
Maybe a software glitch, you might need to rewrite the software on your phone, since you can't adjust the size anywhere...
No problem ;)
can any1 solve ma' prblm??
my phone's fonts and all the text written in menu and all other options became small in size!!!
do any1 knw how 2 make them large..??
I think this is the best phone i have ever had . smart look , good features. i am just proud to have it
Hey doesn't your n72's back cover make cracky noise when you press it ? And simply when using it, doesn't it make any noise ? And when someone is calling for example, doesn't the speaker sometimes make a crack ?
Been using N72 for over 6 months and great phone... battery lasts me ~2 days with fair amount of usage.. speaker is excellent.. very sturdy- been dropped a lot but going strong!
Only trouble i have had with s/w is that once in couple of weeks stops showing new additions to the call logs (i.e missed calls, dialled nos etc) . Need to reboot and then its perfect again.
To offline moded dude:
The problem might be in your sim card, try another one. If still the same, the card might not contact, so take it to a repair shop.
HP ? HP is a phone/computer brand, and this is not a HP, whatever you meant. GSMArena does not sell phones, go to a site where phones are being sold and see. If you are such a lazy ass, then this phone shold be around 400 dollars, at least it is in my country.
If you speak ALOT on a phone, then this phone isn;t for you, it's battery isn't for long phone calls. E-series phones are good for that.
There is no limit, you can store them until your phone memory runs out, and if you keep it empt and install no programs in it, it should hold an enormous amount, i'm guessing over 30000, but no one is dumb enough to do that, and if you want your phone to work fast, clean up your messages every 1000, because messages slow down your phone, and when you go into the inbox, it might freeze.
You want to know how to transfer your messages into your PC ? Install Nokia PC Suite, and there is a Message function, you go to the inbox and click Sychronize button (or transfer or whatever that button was) after a while all messages appear, and you can even text message through your PC. But you must click that button often, so the messages update.
To Aneel again:
You can record calls, if you install a program which does, there are many programs like that, so there won't be a problem finding one, and transfering it is easy, all with Nokia PC Suite, and maybe with FExplorer for Mobile. If you want to lock your personal folders, so other people can't see them, there also are 3rd party programs, which can do that, no biggie...
