Is anyone using a 2GB card with N72. I wanted to know if the phone functions properly with a 2GB card. I guess 1GB card works fine but am not sure abt 2GB
this model in black is the sexiest phone i had found among Nseries. one must have it before the model gets closed forever
Hi All Nokia Users,
I have taken this phone in the month of August 2006.
It is really a good phone with all the features.
I have never seen it hanging while running any of the applications till today. When we use a 1GB Memory it becomes slow but it will not hang.
As i have read lot of opinions from the users saying that it hangs, i have expressed my opinion about the Phone.
But the image quality goes down when we zoom after some extent.
So while capturing the distant images the phone is not good, one more thing i wnated to reveal is that it is not digital camera or a recoder to zoom to that extent,so in my view it is a good phone from all angle.
I thanks the whole Nokia team and its partners involved in developing such agood mobile.
I have used this phone from last two week. Is it the "Automatic Keyguard" function is availabe with this phone? This function is use for automatic key lock. Could u pleasa help me? Is it this function is available? If available, please inform which setting it is acailable?
Is anybody using 2GB card with their N72. I want to upgrade my memory card from 128Mb to 2 GB but i read somewhere that with 2GB card the phone stary hanging/crashing. Can someone using 2GB card clarify? Also, which brand to go for the memory card. Thanks
Is there anybody can help me set the alarm for wakeup call everyday or weekdays. I can only set it 1 day.
I rate the phone 5 out of 10. An absolute waste of money (15,000 Indian rupees). The navigation keys get stuck most often and you need to press hard to get it working just in 2 months from date of manufacture. The earphones keep falling off atleast 15 times in one-hour, making your music experience hell lot. Shud have bought k750i for 10,000 indian ruppes for almost the same features. I will never buy nokia again. Should have waited 2 more months for Motorola A1200 - An absolutely AWESOME phone.
In the end Nokia N72 - Total CRAP.
3G means 3rd generation network, basically you can make video calls on the handset to other 3G video phone. Also you have a faster wap and internet connection for faster downloads, and mobile tv on the handset via data streaming through 3G networks, 3G is also known as UMTS. Its just an upgrade of the exsisting 2G network which regular calls and txts are made through
my name is numaan you did a small mistake you should have copied your old memory card to the new.
just do this
copy the old memory card in a folder in computer and paste it to new.
Ok, now about the flickering. I figured that it might be because of your OPERATOR, it's highly possible, so probably all n72s will do that...
Well i already said why the flickering occurs, so if you find it annoying, you have no other choice, but to change the phone... If you choose between n70 and n73, i'd go for n73, since it has a really good camera, thats all.
Try playing around with the settings in the logs list, my phone registers all calls, if you won't find anything, take it to the shop and ask how to make the logs appear...
To a no named guy that asked about 3g:
Since i have no time, i will only say, that 3g is a way of transfering data... or something like that, my english isn't very good, sorry... for more information go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3g . n72 has no 3g
Well some people say it hangs, but it never hangs for me, works perfectly... I use phone often, so it lasts 2 days max, if you talk alot, it will last 1.5 days, maybe less... If you need a phone , that has a great battery, look ay e-series, (i don't suggest e50 if you talk alot) maybe e60,,, If you don't need Symbian, Sony Ericsson w810 is a great choice
All the programs were in the old MMC card. You should copy the files with a phone file browser, maybe try the backup on the Nokia PC suite, i don't actually know what it backs up, the point is, that you need to copy the install files or the program catalogs...
Sorry if you didn't understand me, today i feel weird...
you just did a small mistake before switiching to new memory you should have copied your old one to the new one
copy your old memory card Full to a folder in a computer
then paste pase all the data copied directly to the new.
computer will ask you to check that you are over writing let over write or you will not get the old data.
this is the simpleset way.
all you need is a memory card reader. and i hope you have the data cable
