Hey N73 users...congratz everyone for buying this wonderful phone...and i feel very honoured to be one among you...guys can anyone help me in finding a good cover for this phone?
can u tell me what is the difference between nokia N73 and N73 music edition..plz
Hey..thanks for the info, Dynamac. Its because I was puzzled between the battery life of Nokia 6120C n Nokia N73. I want to buy either one of it. Anyway, thanks for the info.
battery will last at least a good 3-4 days between charge for what you mentioned. Though that is on GSM, maybe 2-3 on 3G. there is next to no difference between ME and vanilla, except for ME you lose the multimedia button which goes straight into music player, that you cant change, so I actually prefer IE and vanilla, though keep in mind the firmware can be easily changed to and from any version, so it doesnt matter which 1 u buy.
anybody, please tell me if i can change my phone's outer body. thankxxxxxx
hehe thanks sir nkJg hehe thanks for clearing it up ^_^
btw d600's video capturing ability is awesome at morning
sadly though when there is poor lighting like indoors or at night
the framerate drops at 5-7 fps and worse, it has alot of shadows that the video becomes blurry, this is the downside of most samsung phones even samsung's newer batch of fones like the f300,d900 and f500 both are like the d600 in capturing videos...
greatest at morning... like a low end webcam indoors and semi unusable at night
hehehe in good daylight it rivals the n95 and when capturing pictures the d600 at daytime seems to take a picture of fast moving objects
hehe what bugs me is the d900 , even with autofocus and a steady hand, takes blurry pictures indoors 75% of the time...
hehe d600 beats the d900 when it comes to being able to photograph decent pictures indoors hehehe^_^
Hi to all N73 users. I would like to ask if full charge of this battery, how long would it last? Say like normal usage of telephony, sms , playing music. I was planning to buy Nokia N73, what is the differences between Music Edition n normal edition? Do they have special software upgrades? Is the sound quality better than the Nokia 6233's speakers? I am sorry because have too many questions to ask.
Samsung D600 makes nice videos.
Better than SE, regular Nokia's 2.0MP cams, etc...
I have been using my N73 for months and i am realy satisfide with its features and all over job ability but the only problem 4 me is lack of auto-key pad locking system which i supposed people of NOKIA had forgotten it which is a primary feature which was a normal function even with the old tme 1611, (do you remember it?)
Thanks / samadi tehran - Iran
thankz a lot Dynamac!!!

Shame For Nokia Care Centre!!!!
Hi, I m using n73 for more than one year.10 days before when I was updating software, computer lost the connection with fone and my fone died.I want to Nokia care Centre for repair and I was ready to pay for repair, but "They refused to repair it because I bought this fone in USA and I live in Chile and they can not repair it" So,I forced them to give this wording in written. after that I sent my N73 to repair in other repair centre and they repaired it for 25US$.I have the bill. " Shame For Nokia Care Centres".
If they can't repair fones of other countries then why the make 3 or 4 band unblocked fones??
firmware updates can be had from nokia software updater just download the program from nokia, plug in your phone and check for updates as long as you are not trying to change the product code. If you want to change your product code you will need what is called NSS, it gets alot more complicated then, you will need to go to help forums for that.
If your phone is slow press and hold the menu key when you are in the standby screen, it will load up the task manager which shows all the tasks that are running. With symbian if you like using end key to get outta applications then it wont actually close. you might find a whole lot of applications open in the background which is causing it to slow down. Just close each one manually by 'exiting'. You will see that file manager/messenging and stuff are all considered applications that are open.
See if that works
About the joystick, you will find its pretty tough, i always keep mine in the pocket without a cover and anything, but the joystick works fine. though the silver paint will eventually rub off on the tip, like mine. It takes a while for that to happen though!
The resolution of the video recording is not the only important matter. Video format (avi, 3gp, mp4,..) , the sofware and level of compression is important. That is why my 3 year old 1.3Mpix Cif recording in mp4 give better and smoother video than many 3 Mpix new phones.
By the way anyone knows a small phone with good video recording ?
btw...if VGA(640x480) isnt regarded as half of 1.3 megapixel (1280x760)
and is only 1/4...then that means
CIF(352x288) and, to be accurate, QVGA(320x240) could be considered as 1/4 of VGA too?
oh thanks for the correction sir george^_^
just awhile back...it suddenly occured to me that the camera of the 6600,which is VGA, is regarded as ".3 megapixel" hehehe...figures ^_^
