hi all, has anybody encountered any problems with the joystick on nokia n73? Because sony's joystick gets stuck after 6months of usage. thanks.
any n73 owners here knows how long the voice recording of this phone? i wanna buy this phone but i make sure this phone does not limit its voice recording duration to 1 minute only.
I get severe pain in my ears while using N73. Has anyone experienced the same ? Also it gives a slight numbness on thighs when kept in trouser pockets. Any experience ?
I am really mad. This is the best phone ever but a few weeks ago i went to upgrade my N73 ME from the nokia site and when the upgrade was over it cmpletely died.My parents gave me two options.Either fix the phone or get a new phone(Not the same model though).I went to fix it and they couldn't so now i am left without a phone.I am really pissed of with nokia.Does anybody have a suggestion or something that could help me fix it.If you don't please give me some ideas for a new phone. Thanks
Ive had my N73 since Nov06. I must say, the screen on this is amazing. One of the very very few phones still visible in high sunlight. Overall this phone has been excellent, and i am tempted to keep it despite upgrading my contract as nothing else out seems to be much better (waiting for SEK850). only issue is that it does get slow occasionally, often RE: camera. very very rarely does it freeze. ive found that turning off the phone, then powering it back up aleviates this problem. To anyone debating about getting a phone and this is an option... i would HIGHLY recommend. as its symbian OS, the menu systems are highly customizable to how exactly you'll use the phone (this function is HIGHLY keeping me addicted to nokia, and may even keep me despite superior camera quality on the SE phones).
Does anybody know how much it will cost to replace the joystick in Malaysia? It's joystick is really sucks..but it a really grea8 fon.I really love it..
Dear all please can anyone provede me with a website to upgrade my N73 software to V4.07220.127.116.11 thank you.

Nokia is giving a hard time for al the N73 ME users, We still have the same old firmware V.3.0705.21.....But for N73 they have n number of firmware that also includes the recent V.4. The current firmware of N73 Me is just crap in all departments, Music player loudness is not up to the mark, and so on. Will nokia really introduce a new firware for N73 ME users. Those who concern this can post their reply.

To solve the expiry certificate on when install THEME, all u need to do is go to date/time setting on N73, change the year to 1-2 yrs ago, eg: 2005 or 2006. Then try installing the theme.
Don't forget to change back the year after install the theme.
hi guys. i have a decision problem. i don't know what to choose. n73 or n80. plz help me. thanks
guys and gals,
I own an n73ME for nearly a month now...
i don't know if other n73ME owners sympathizes with me but i somehow don't like the way nokia is treating their n73ME users because the latest update was still the v3.0705.1.0.31 dated 26-01-2007 which was almost 6 months ago.
There are still bugs on the current firmware which badly needs revision.
No offense meant to N73 (regular) users but when I heard that a new firmware was available to n73 (regular) which supports A2DP and FOTA (?) which also includes the functionalities of the ME version music player, I was so frustrated because now it seems that the more expensive version (ME) became the one with lesser features. :(
I surely hope nokia will have an update for n73 ME soon...
(Yeah, I know this is not a nokia forum but this might help buyers decide which version to buy..)
yes the n73 is slow a firmware upgrade via nokia.com can help with this. the keypad is fine not too small and not slippery. to get the internet on your phone (gprs/wap) you need to contact your network provider. (it can usually be done in a few minutes online and is relatively pain free. hope this helps. and remember to use the opinion search as all of these questions have already been ansewred. :)
Regarding your problem with expired certificates:
I have read that S60 v9.1 phone are very strict with symbian certificates...
If you are really that much eager to install those themes, you must re-"SIGN" it in order to have a new certificate.
www.dotsis.com has a lot of resources regarding signing of symbian applications not to mention hundreds of free mobile applications and games..
You may want to visit this link:
It really pays off learning how to "sign" symbian apps especially that you own a s60 v 9.1 phone since most free applications are either unsigned or expired.
Basing on my experience, after re-"sIGNING" them, I can install it on my phone.
Regarding your inquiry about using internet on n73:
First, try running the Settings Wizard application which comes installed in the n73. It will try to automatically detect and configure the settings of your network operator.
BTW, I'm from the philippines with SMART as my network operator. I only used the Settings Wizard and everything was fine.
If the first method won't work, try calling your network's customer service or go to their nearest service center and have it configured. Usually, its free of charge.
I Hope I was able to help...
