Sounds good. Yeah, most things seem to be ok over here apart from the standby screen and the settings. Vodafone startup screen has gone and until I can sort the settings out have a problem with voda live and cannot access MobileTV. Phone says too many connections open and then closes the Contract MMS and says there is no connection. So, that's that for now.
If it doesn't work said I would phone Christmas day and was told someone poor ****er would be working!!
Tried the update firewall to get to equal the music edition N73 it finally upgraded my mobile did not seem to get it fully upgrade to the full music player ,*#0000# an My N73 shows V3.06220.127.116.11 put to get the full music audio update it should be V3.0618.104.22.168,but i can tell the sounds alot more steroe an everything faster it will keep trying to get it fully done i hope an the dates changed as well to 30.10.2006 all you have to do to get your anti-virus an firewall turned of on your pc or laptop an the nokia software updater searches an finds your phone alot easier an quicker

doesn't appear to be any major probs yet mate the standby screen is fine, i had a bit of trouble accessing vodafone live but i sorted that today. it sends and recieves text and mms as normal.
the added fetures on the music side are first class, rh hand button straight into music player. the balance, stereo widening and loudness are good features too. the visualisation is pretty tidy to you can have album art, oscilloscope and spectrum (the one you see in the ads for x factor)when you play music. overall i'm quite happy with it but it's totally different now i've got rid of the nasty vodafone software. if i get any probs i'll let you know.
Glad to hear it went well. So no probz with the standby screen or the settings. Assuming you now have the ME edition.
Hi all, Ive been reading the comments, i checked this phone out but cannot make a decision to buy the phone or not? please advise? Thank You!
All N73 users,
I've been reading this thread for quite awhile and I'm puzzled as to why Nokia is not addressing all these issues that u people who paid hard cash for the phone and yet have to resort to trial & error, to the point of begging for help, to the point of killing your expensive phone to solve the problem. So many question raised here about the phone should have been clearly stated in the description of the phone on Nokia website, yet none has brought this to the attention of Nokia. They are the ones who wants to sell the phone to you right so well be at their mercy.
My suggestion boyc.t their n Series phone till they resolve their issues stated here. Else other models with better features & prices will be coming out soon.
A food for thoughts for all N73 users just in case you are too desperate to make your phone working normally. Unity is strenght !!!!
can i snap all the way to take pictures rather than depress halfway then all the way
Does anybody know if the N73 PROBLEMS are resolved in the new version Of N73, i'm reffering to ME...(problems such as: phone being slow, or needed to be restarted becoause....etc..)
Tnx for your answers!
I really love this phone very much.I mean it is so good.Camera 3.15 MP with Carl Zeiss Lens(it is a lens for good digital camera's)!The Music Edition is already out in Indonesia and it is 5,350,000 rupiah. It is very expensive but the normal one is 4,350,000 rupiah. But I think I'm getting the Nokia N70 Music Edition.1GB memory.God it's good....It's actually cheaper...
ALex, the blue light flashing means that the phone is in sleep mode. It flashes so that we know the phone is still on since the screen display is off.. To turn off, Menu..Tools..Settings..Phone..Display..Sleep Mode, Turn it Off..
what is the different between n73 and n73 music edition? can n73 use 2GB memory card?
I think is picture quilty is good because of its 3 MP camera in built.
does anyone knows if the n73 ME sound louder (through loudspeakers) than the SE k750i in terms of music

just updated the software to music edition and i was sh"""ing myself but it seems to be working fine no problems with the phone. everything seems to be working ok and the difference is amazing (in my opinion anyway)
the only problem i encountered was the nokia updater got to stage 2 of 3 and stopped there. i was prompted to retry and i tried on several occassions but it kept telling me to remove the battery and try again which i did but on taking the battery out i switched the phone back on the phone was already apdated. very strange but the results are great.
thanks for the linky
i've downloaded the stuff just going to make sure my insurance is up to date just in case it has to go in the washing machine LOL.
if i can find the bottle to go through with it i'll let you know.
I meant to add re the problem with the standby screen [see earlier post]
My service provider informed me that this has happened to quite a few N73s in their techie shop and it can take up to a week for the software to install itself on the handset. It does this even though not connected to anything !!
This link tells you how to update the firmware
BUT BE CAREFFUL!!!
