Update from my previous post: Have had phone for over a month now. Good points - Still loving that big screen, great reception quality, good sound quality through speakers, good camera which ain't too bad at night either, despite it having only an LED flash - unlike my Sharp903, that had excellent daytime shots (better than any other phone by far) but miserable results when the sun went down.
Disappointing points: Still find the UI fussy and non-intuitive; The looks don't grow on you; Battery once off full charge does drain very quickly; There's just too much hesitation/time lapse when switching functions, going to new menus, turning on the camera etc - You can almost hear the cogs whirring in the processor; That keypad is slowly driving me mad - it's really quite small and feels odd in that your thumb can't "dance" over the keys, instead you kind of have to "stab" at them...Maybe different strokes for different folks - sent a text out on my old K750 yesterday and it was Bliss in comparison.
In fact overall, if SE had bothered to upgrade the video function on the K800 to CIF instead of keeping it as QCIF (same as the K750 - where's the progress?) I'd have gone for the SE - All the added functionality of the N73 eg uploading photos direct onto web etc soon loses its novelty appeal. Think Some people might need all the additional functionality, but for eg most people I know who need to view & use documents on the move on a regular basis have a pda anyway. To sum up: Over functioned and under designed?
A last note to mull over, I think Nokia & SE are trying to compete product for product in a few key sectors (if not ALL of them of course!) - eg N73/K800, 6233/K610, E61/M600 - I pick these particular phones as examples because they even Look similar.
I have an important question. With the future firmware will my n73 make better viodeos or photos?? it's a pitty to film cif size with interruptions : (
I am most likely getting this one soon. After reading the reviews and playing around with it in the store theres only one little thing that left me wondering. It´s about the Ui. How do you go to the main menu from the standby interface (the one where you can see calendar notes and some icons)? It would be apreciated if some user could please reply to this. Thanks.

I Presently own N3230, I want to change it with N73.
I want to know the CPU and its speed of N73 and the Symbian OS that it supports.
Is it a good decision to go for N73.
u should not delete these music that u using for the ringtone and message tone.. once u delete it... it will reset and u have to set it back in order to ring it correctly... try it..
the n73 os... s60 3rd edition have no much application available yet... as s60 will have alot of application... this latest version never hang before... as i was using n80 for 2 weeks... never hang... n70 using s60... hangs alot... and sometimes restart it self (don't know the problem)... just wait until the application are available for s60 3rd edition...
N91 seems to have problem with it 4gb hd... it used to hang sometimes and it's very late to access the files in the 4gb...
n73 is better i think.... if u are buying n80 cause the camere is 3.15... then i would advise u to not to buy n80... because n 80 sucks in video recording in the dark and the pictures are not clear... i just sell of my n80 after using it for 2 weeks... i haven't test n73 yet... planning to buy 1...
crazy johns is not selling this product today
for $369 they dont even stock this phone.
Hurry up and replace it. This phone is very good, much better than n90.It's almost perfect, for me it lacks only wi-fi, but I don't need wi-fi.HeHe.
Hi just got this phone today after having had only sony ericsson since the day of the T68i.
1 Question: In standby my light sensor falshes blue, can this be stopped?
In short this phone is extremely good. Brilliant screen, keypad is usable (and i've got big hands) Memory cards are cheap and loads of other functions! Chose this over the K800i because i thought K800i looked boring in comparison and didnt have as much to offer. Only bad thing is SAR level on phone is twice that of K800i. Apart from that well done nokia.
