Any tips on using the joystick?? i keep accidntally pressing down wn im navigating
I currently have a N91, N73 and the 8800. I have used the N80 and N70. After using the N70 and N80 I decided that I would never buy a lower N series phone from Nokia!!!!When the N73 came out I just could not resist the temptaion of buying this phone! And I was surprised with the N73. It was a pleasant surprise. The OS is super fast. For people who have used the above mentioned phones, the OS just blows those phones away. The camera is great and its hard to believe that the sound quality of the N73 is better than the N91, which is supposed to be Nokia's music phone. The battery life is awesome. I think you can easily get upto 5-6 hours of talk time. All these features make this phone mind blowing. The only downside of the phone is the aesthetic look. Looks like any other normal phone but trust me it is soooo much more than that. Just love the phone. Looks like I will be getting rid of my N91 and will replace it with the P990i. Yippeee a new phone again. hehe
i had an n80 for about two months and was very disappointed with its performance so i decided to trade it in for a n73. i've had it for about a week now and i'm very much satisfied with its performance. its fast and very responsive just like my n70 but with more features. this handset comes highly recommended!
The problem with phones is that you can't please everyone. Someone wants a slider or a flip or a candybar. Someone else is more interested in the camera than the phone side and vice versa. This one says this phone is too big and or heavy and then complains the keypad is too small. The manufacturers are trying to please as many people as they can and can often end up pleasing no-one.
Just decide what you want from a phone and go for the least worst option.
Don't think about it for too long though because the next three models are being planned even as post all these remarks and opinions.
You can't please everyone and it is not in the manufacturer's interests to do so. If they make the perfect phone then nobody will buy the next model.
To all you people who want to find out if the N73 is the right phone to get go to www.mobile.review.com an theres two sections explaining about the handset an then the camera an you will then be able to decide to get the N73 or not,i will tell you its the best one out right now an really glad i got this Number ONE mobile cheers ANDY
Very clear words in the N73 review,
-Loose camera cover.
I didnt really need to read the plastic point cause i already posted a comment about it here, i said before its so NOT good & i knew it will be mentioned in the review as well. it was so clear that its plastic is so bad & cheap the moment i 1st used the N73.
On the other,i find my self shocked to know about the loose cover & the joystick.
NOW,why did it say in the review N73 is the best in market even better than N80!!? i cant really answer this alone, but i think N73 got more bad points than N80 does. so i guess N80 is still way better, ater all, there is no use of N73's lens cover if it gets loose in about a week or so.
what do you think guys, should i give up my N80 for the N73 or should i wait untill we see more facts about this N73????
and which do you really think is better???
It would be really nice if you could help(anybody)
You can "silence" the vibrate by going into Profiles & editing the profile you are using to cancel the vibration.
The N73 comes with 2 adapters to use the radio, the headphones w/included volume control works great for me, but it also comes with a standard mini-plug adapter for use with ANY headphones which also works great.
I have this phone. How I can make a call recording? That's your opinion about the battery?"Gif" on main screen don't work,it's only common "Jpeg" picture!!
i just saw someone mentioning that the n73 needs to use its headset cable as an fm antenna and so it wouldn't be possible to listen to radio on say bose or sennheisers.Im afraid thats wrong as any cable of >5ohm resistance can act as a fm antena.infact the bose/sennheiser cables should give you better reception than the run of the mill nokia headset.
those who criticised about the small key pad of this phone, i think this phone does not suit them, after all this phone is not customized for everybody, so choose whats suitable for you and dont blame aimlessly.
its great phone, no doubt, smart and good looking (more femine)
the more i use my n73, the more i understand.i thinks this is the best phone, 'cause it combines business and entertainment and gives me privacy (which the loudy k800i does not have), some peole talks about the loose lens cover on this phone, i think he got a defected piece. what else can i say? i use my phone as a mini computer with the gprs connection, i can send email and add or download the attachment of email from my phone diretly also. there is more, i got the dictionary with the memory card, a good aid of mine. good camera, 3d sound effect, rocks. i just love the ringtone effect and i can also make it pronounce the caller's names, cool, uh?
regarding my experience at the time of choosing k800i, i find the design so odd (why the camera should be out, making it so uncomfortable in hand), small screen, and the lens very loose (can be easily slide open), YOU DONT FIND THIS IN N73, EVEN ITS OPEN (rarely), it will not open the camera if the key pad is locked.
and there are more, i will tell you later.....
NO, i found the camera cover perfect! Infact i was thinking to myself (before reading the GSM review) how great the cover was compared to my old (N70)
But i have only had it 2 days. Hopefully it stays like this.
for RKnx :
if you wait another 3-6 months as you say another model will appear and you will find n73 as a waste of money, the shouldn` put the phone on market before they`ve test it very well.
how much is the phones ram?..Is it the same as the previous N70? which has 32mb of ram..thnx..and how is the picture quality?.
saving my money for this phone and hopefully when i bought this phone it won't have software bugs...
