I am not a fan of changing my cell phone evry short time so I'm planning to get a p... morefor sure n78 looks sleek! i've droped my a couple of times and no problems atall. camera lens hasn't shifted, cover doesn't pull off etc. i think the n78 can stand the test of time.
well not just n78, any nokia phone gets tourtured by the manufacturers before hitting the shelves so you can be sure the phone can take some beating :)

des, 24 Nov 2008hey guys...any1 experience the camera unable to zoom? how to solve this prob? yes, i had the same problem when i first bought it. you MUST update your mobile to solve the problem. n78 had 2 important updates in 2 months gap.

yes,the 5800 will officially released in 290 euros
but thats nok... morei know u once mentioned u are goin to buy this 5800xm. well hope u can review on this on as soon as it get into ur hands.
i myself are happy with N78, and will only waiting for the next nokia 8mpx. hehe, so N78 will be here with me for longer time.

I've heard the sound of 5320 & 5610 through loudspeaker & standard headset
5610 wins by the loudspeaker
but both wins by the standard headset

Well, I still dunno whether it goin to rock or disapointing, but from what i've observed, this ones would becoming nokias best seller.
Launching with just only 279 euro, maybe just 20 euro more than N78. By that time, if u didnt like it, u still can turn to N78 or 5320, with cheaper price after price-cut.
my point is simple,
if u focusing on music, wait for 5800xm instead of 5320
if u want all in one phone (just like me), then go for N78

while 5320 misses 2,4" inch screen, WiFi, 3,2mpx camera, better headset,GPS & aGPS,stereo loudspeaker,navi wheel and the last thing is Nseries elegant style
but if you focus on the music
I recommend 5610
the audio is clearer & louder than 5320, cover made from unscratched alloy, 3,2mpx camera, cool slide phone

I am not a fan of changing my cell phone evry short time so I'm planning to get a phone that could work well for a long time, like 3 or 4 years, maybe more, is N78 able to handle everyday use for time that long, I like how it looks like but it seems so fragile?

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970strange question but i'll answer it anyway.
N95 are segmented for high end phone, thats why it comes with more sophiscated material, bigger screen, better speaker and better camera (5mpx) and better processor.
But its technology is one year older than N78, thats why it misses fm transmitter, weaker battery life compare to N78, weaker GPS (based on what i heard)then N78 and not so slim.

Zihad, 23 Nov 2008I bought 78 20days ago.bt my navi wheel is starting 2 pheel off.its not looking gud.yesterday ... moreyes, i heard many times bout this.
Usually it happened when u use it too much in gaming (i myself not into gaming), or the user wear too-tight jeans mostly. :)
hope NOKIA can do better next time.
or NOKIA can make that item with aluminium instead. And all of us, nokia user who bought N78 b4 can get a replacement for free. come on... its just a small part only and dont cost too much for a big company like NOKIA. In return, NOKIA will get more reputation and more buyer for sure.

It has slighter higher cpu speed(coz of the 2 cores)... moresomething new & awkward design?
Thats what I call 'subjectively'
it have no relation with the technology,just your feeling
instead
when N95 first released,it also called something new & awkward design
and so does the other phenomenon phones
think it clearly dude
