Hey guys i am 4m bangladesh.i buy 78 today.but i found there is no ngage icon in my menu.i saw this it was there in youtube video.and my light sensor wont work which is beside the front camera.how can i make it work.my set is made by finland and sw is 12.pls help pls.thanks

after that
find images which has same name
cut one of them to PC & rename it
then move it back to the phone
finally you'll get the image can be shown on gallery
you cant rename it on the phone or on nokia phone browser directly,it wont affect anything
but move it first to the PC
the point is dont let any images has the same name

i have this phone and it is working very good
except that every month i have to format it because it lags
the navi wheel began to scratch very quickly and it looks awful
its black color after using it for 4monthes begin to make me hate it
i think nokia has lost its hope in this crapy piece of chit!!
whatever i think i will go for n82 because i like its camera and for the animation of n78 i didn't like it anyway it makes the phone a lit bit slower
but what i will miss in n78 is its navi wheel and the Photos application and its lite weight
they say that this Os is more faster than feature pack 1 but i don't believe basing on reviews videos

there are just a few nokia phone use FP2: N78,N96,5320,N85,N79..
So the apps for the FP2 are just a few too
for some case
you still can install apps although it says 'application cant work' or blablabla..
But I reccomend zedge.net & symbianworld.com for more compatible FP2 apps
or maybe you can google it by yourself

as i read the messages that pipol posted here... i just noticed that they have problems in using their phones.. i don't believe that the phones are that defected. maybe some users just dont understand smartphones...

so the system couldnt save it in a single file
make sure you set the name of captured images with unique name

although the loudspeaker isnt stereo but the sound is very clear compared to N81,N78 & 5300 I ever had
you can use sennheiser or samsung headphone if you want the best best best (I WRITE IT 3 TIMES) audio experience

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2008just have one thing to say, The autofocus of this thing is awful, i tried my brothers n82 came... moreauto focus is for focusing the image so that no blur & we can see the capturing image detailer
when you take a moving car but the image show the car stopped
then its called SHUTTER SPEED
the shutter speed of the phone is different although in the same pixel
like 5310,just try to take a moving car image with this phone & you'll get nothing but colored-wind-swinged image (very very unclear)
but when you take it with N81 which has the same 2mpx camera,you'll still get more detailed moving car image

@emer that lighting thing on the navi wheel when its on stanby is called breathing, it's normal and it will flash twice if there is unread messages and unanswered calls, you can turn this feature off in the phone settings thus will save battery consumption.
6233 beat this handsdown at loudspeaker while n78 has much better quality when using headphones.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2008just have one thing to say, The autofocus of this thing is awful, i tried my brothers n82 came... morenokia is not misleading you, you justo don't know.. autofocus is not about the speed of capture, is about focusing on the subject, making it apppear sharp, capture speed is something else, maybe if you check the settings yopu would find a faster setting, maybe not, but the important part is the quality of the photos.. if you want to stop a fan.. turn it off... :)
