n78 have a exelent mobile but it is not beter than n82 .

If Nokia continues to stick with N81-like design and construction, I for sure will be staying away from N series

Hey... Does anyone know if the volume of the loudspeaker is very soft? i presently own a sony ericsson k800i and find my phone volume very soft. Is the volume of the loudspeakers very soft on the n78? is it as loud as the n73? is the sound quality good from the loudspeakers? i find the quality of sound from my k800i to be average only. thanks in advance. is the camera better than my k800i? k800i has a xenon flash though, without the xenon flash, is the camera performance still acceptable for night photos?

Just got the phone 3 days ago, my Remarks as follows:
1. Menu set up in a different manner then other Nokia phones.
2. Application are minimal.
3. Sound Clear.
4. Restarts several times by itself.
5. Battery life is ok
6. Connection setting more difficult.
7. Hangs several times (you must remove battery).
8.I did not try out the camera yet.
9. You can’t move folders to Main menu.
10. AGPS is ok.
I would wait for software update to fix the many bugs.

n-82 and n-93 has more function than n-78
but n-78 is a slim phone as compare to all

I'm seriously considering n82 but i really wanted this phone for its navi-wheel and fp2, but its no use if its such a fragile phone...the n82 looks very durable with metal and actually has a lens cover.

I don't think its appropriate to compare which phone is better & which is not. I believe when one buys a phone, he should already know what functions / design he needs.
Of course, the more functions or higher quality finish of a phone will usually have a higher price tag. Every phone will have its unique features.
As for N78, it cost higher than N82 maybe its due to the new Symbian FP2. So one has to pay for the latest feature.
In Singapore, this phone cost $288 with a 2-yrs contract. Its cheaper than N82. But I got this because of its high battery capacity.

Nokia is very good of confusing everyone with N78. I like to change my N82 since is too thik but N78 is only 2mm slimer and Camera is not as good as N82. So, I do not know what am I gain by changing my N82 to N78? I guess that is why Nokia calls it is new modle of N73 and not N82.....

just like a brick, keypad is terrible and its so simple. Its very fat too
Even GSMARENA who are nokia fans in theire preview said that this is a bad designed phone which couldnt win our heart.
So better go for g900
