nokia n78 phone very light and beautiful also camera 3.15, i am certain ,this nokia very good
had a look round for past 3 months and most likely going for n82,,especially now its in black..it HAS BETTER SPEC AND LOOKS MORE HIGH TECH
This is what exactly i was looking for,
it is like the BIG BROTHER of Nokia N73, I like candybar style phones. And this is just the thing...i am worried about the keypad tough...oh well...you can't get everything!
the review on www.mobile-review.com makes the n78 very promising indeed so go on to there a read review it looks good mobile the n78 but the price might have to be cut to make the n78 sell well
Nokia N82 is much better than this one... Has better processor, more ram... I think i`ll bye n82..
hey just wants to let you guys no, some people here saying they have n78 for sale and giving their email to contact for deals. don't fall for it. n78 is going to be out in may only. lots of con men out there trying to rip you off. wait for you local dealers or check with people who has it in your city and see it first hand and then buy it. esp.toronto people. watch out for paypal dealings and overseas dealings. jah bless.
guyzzzzzz...
www.mobilereview.com has already posted review about n78.
go check it.
nokia are the kings. im sorry but this isnt even nokias top model and its better than every single high end sony erricson phone.
the proccessor is great too.
369mhz proccessor, while sony erricsons run on 208mhz proccessors!
well i am interested to buy this phone couse i like it but not sure about the audio quality i hope it's better then 6233 :D
Realy wish NOKIA had done more with the design, it realy doesn't look good, this would have made a good upgrade to my current N81 but theres no way il get a phone that looks so ugly,il get an N82, but a great job in terms of specs in this phone, its a great addition to the Nseries, starting to set very high standards.
For those worried about the keys... they're actually seaprate keys divided by ridges that are naked to the eye from far away. Each key has it own 'dome' on the inside meaning feedback is maximised...
Apparently testing by Nokia has revealed that the N78 keypad has equalled the performance of the N73 in terms of speed of input and frequency of errors.
Don't be fooled but the way the number/text buttons look!!! They're actually extremely tactile and surprisingly swift when typing text messages! I'm sure many will have their initial opinions hammered when they try the phone out after launch...
Why are the haters rating this phone so low? It's the all rounder phone in my opinion. It has everything from 3G to Wi-Fi with a decent camera and music playback capabilities ~ also runs on latest Symbian OS and is very light weight.
Sure, it's not a touch screen - but anyone who's used a touch screen will know what a nightmare it is to write text messages on them!!!
I dont think it would be fair to compare the n82 to the n78. They are both all-in-one devices, but they belong in different classes. They may have similar specs, but hav compromises in certain areas. If you are a person doesnt mind having a phone which does not have all the biggest best features, but stil offers overall top-notch performance, then n78 would be a nice option.
If you are a photographer who must have the best camera and are willing to sacrifice the other features being top notch, but stil adequately good, then n82 is a better choice.
When n78 comes out chances are that it may be the same price as the n82. So it a matter of user preference.

a demonstration of its functions i have found
i think the battery will be a problem, the LCD (very very nice - 16 M colors) and the Symbian will consume it like a joke.
Dude its not even released yet. Though the buttons look very tiny they should not be a problem. As easy as Nokia N82 for slim fingers.
