Does anybody know how I can set the n78 so that when it is in power saver time-out mode (screen goes dark after few seconds of inactivity), the backlit will still remain on for few more seconds to show the Now playing screen (shows date and time)? or it cannot do this?
Note: I'm using firmware 20.149.

I've got this phone yesterday. I am amazed with the battery performance. It's in 3GB network, listen to so much music, WLAN search set to off, few calls and battery is almost full.
For those who have concerns about the keypad, yes it's bit little odd initially but i think you will get used to it with time. I don't think keypad should not stop buying this phone over others. However Nokia is soooo dumb to put this type of Keypad for this superb phone. I wonder if they can come up with new replacement frame with larger keys.
If any body knows the distance of FM Transmeter... I'm from Sri lanka it works in very short distances I have to almost touch the antenna of the radio (2 ft) to work it

any branded products coming from china has quality problems dispite production being monitored by the original manufacturers of the equipment.

Mohamed, 11 Feb 2009Does the N78 fm transmitter transmit in stereo or mono ?it depends on your receiver devices (radio,car kit,home theatre,etc.)
if your radio has stereo speaker,it will produces stereo sound too
so,its not about the N78
but the devices which receive your frequency

did any off u face problem with this phone, always reboot when i try using it in fast way. like open some application by shortcut, try capture picture fast after take i picture. one thing, the back light is always turn off fast even i have set it longer than 5 seconds
