I like this phone alot. i bought it about a month ago, and am very pleased with the quality. got all the features i need. strongly recommend this one.

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2010i dont know whats with your battery, my battery lasted a minimum of 1 and 1/2 days.. *heavy use! hey guys my video recording is hanging at the start but resumes after some time normally.... does anyone else experiencing same problm...

hey guys its me amir again.... i have to say this sadly that as experienced by many n79 users i am also experiencing the same problem while recording the video... the video stucks at the begining few seconds nearly 20 secs and then resumes to normal... i thought that this problem will be solved after updating the firmware but it didnt.... however the video quality is good so hope nokia fixes this bug in their next firmware update......

I purchased N79 5 days ago. The battery life is poor. It lasts only 24 hrs. Any idea why? I heard that it has a good battery life. I only use it for calling purpose for 30-40 minutes a day. I use animated theme. Does that consume more power?

Jenny, 07 Jan 2010help me please! what is packet data? cause i cant sometimes surf the net because its says &quo... morepacket data is the internet or gprs service provided by your local network(i.e the sim which u use). you first need to subscribe to that depending upon your usage plan. then you will be able to access the web using packet data.....

opps! the keypad is now ok, ive just to cut my fingernails.. haha.. and the camera is good..but not very good..but whats important is its good and above average..

I want a Nokia N79.I want to know about its Camera Quality.Is nit a Good Camera Phone and Wats about its Battery Backup in 3G.Tell me its camera Quality is Better than Nokia6700 Slide or Sony ericsion W series 5 Megapixel Cameras.I need this phone on the basis of Camera & 3G features.

I just can't understand why nokia is not giving enough importance on the camera quality like samsung & sony ericsson, samsung's 5mp,8mp,2mp,3.2 mp cameras, all are better than nokia's same megapixel camera mobiles. N79 is such a multimedia set that one good camera would have made the users, not to look towards any other mobiles. N79 really hurts me when it comes to camera in front of my freind's samsung mobile with the same 5mp camera.

Alisha, 06 Jan 2010Can anybody tell me, one photo taken from N79 is of how much Mb ? Please. Thanks.its around 650 to 900 kb average but i have got a few with more than 1.5mb..... no setting everything was automatic.....

I have recently purchased a N79 phone. The phone seems great when i consider its features.
But it hangs sometimes when i unlock my keypads. I am using a downloaded Theme. Is it because of that? I have 3GB of free memory in card and 40MB in phone.

sagar, 06 Jan 2010i have compared its 5 mp camera with that of N73 but its not satisfactory upto the mark.......... moreBoy, if you want a very good camera then invest more and get n86. Under Rs 15000 it is the best all-rounder having almost all the features.
